Bush will win Florida by 70,000 votes. I did a detailed mathematical anaylsis, but is was pulled by the mods.

Ohio is looking good (4% lead w/52% of precincts reporting), New Hampshire is tied w/i 400 votes,
Bush is also leading by 9% with 25% of the vote in (Wisconsin), and looking strong in CO and NM.

Bush is behind in Iowa, but with only 19% of the precincts reporting

GOP predicts Ohio, Bush win
Tue Nov 02 2004 23:02:04 ET

WASHINGTON, Nov. 2 (UPI) -- White House sources are telling UPI that they believe George W. Bush will win Ohio and be re-elected president of the United States.

At 10:30 p.m., Bush was told by a senior adviser that Ohio would land in the GOP column and put him over the top with at least 274 electoral votes, the sources said.

"We're very upbeat," Bush said as he watched returns in the Yellow Room at the White House with family members -- including his father, former President George H.W. Bush. "I believe I will win."

Bush's comments shortly before 10 p.m. EST reflected rising Republican hopes that Bush will win Florida and remain in contention in Ohio. Winning both those states would almost certainly return him to office.

The comments were also timed to reach voters in states where the polls had not yet closed including Hawaii, Nevada and Oregon. CNN had Bush leading with 193 electoral votes to Sen. John Kerry's 112.

Strange that they can call California for Kerry, but not call Ohio and Flordia for Bush.

Michigan would put GWB over the top without Ohio. So would Wisconsin. GWB is leading in all three.

another thread running now - Novak says Bush has Ohio. But remember, this is Bob Novak.

I thought 3 hours ago Novak said Ohio was not going to work out for Bush. Why is all the media suffering from dementia?

I believe Cleveland has reported, matter of fact that city skewered the polls earlier in the night to reflect a KErry lead but it was short-lived.

If the trends hold, the President wins Ohio by 3-4%, maybe 5%.

Wow! 5% beats 2000...we won Ohio by 4 back then ;-)
