"I live in Tenn., but cannot get local after dark. I always tune into WBAP and Mark Davis is on right now."

Thanks, just tuned back. When I lived in Little Rock,Ar, I could get the 50,000 watt blowtorch too.

IMHO, Brit is being overly cautious, cconsidering he was among the first to STUPIDLY call Florida for Gore in 2000 while the polls were still open.

I think he learned his lesson.

from jaycost.blogspot.com:

Bush Flips Osceola County
Blue in 2000...Red in 2004.

He nets 4,486 votes. Osceloa is the county south of Orlando. Gore won it with 51.12% in 2000. Bush is on track to win it with 51.72%

The site has a team of people comparing battleground results from 2000 to 2004 on a precinct by precinct basis. It's pretty good.

What has happened...The exit polls showed a solid Kerry win.

Exit poll seems to be wrong.

Why?

IMHO....They asked the wrong questions in the poll (or, more likely, extrapolated the wrong vote for the answer given)

They asked, "Is the war in Iraq going well?"
If the answer was "No", they put it as a vote for Kerry. But hell....many Bush voters would say the same thing.

It's like if they asked me if the "Country was moving in the right direction?" I would say "Yes". What they WOULDN'T know was that I said that because Bush had used his vetoes...was too tepid in Iraq....didn't veto CFR.

So I repeat....they asked stupid questions in the exit polls.

Fox just said the same thing: press in the residence, and a little more I didn't catch.

A little late to say they caught somebody....

CNN is fnow reporting 65% of Florida is counted, with Bush holding at 53/47.

He will need the lead, since two big dem counties haven't started reporting. (but Miami is not overwhelmingly dem)

I can't say what is happening because the official Florida site with all the county breakdowns is about half an hour behind CNN.

I know this is almost sacreligious on this web site, but Specter losing in PA........is not that big of a deal. He stabbed Bush in the back after Bush went there to help him, even though the guy he beat in the primary would have made a better REP Senator..... I've never liked him since and the same could be said for McCain, Hag, Lugar and some of the other squishy Rinos.

I am praying.

I look at my two lads asleep on the sofa in the TV room and ponder their future....shite...I could weep.

We have to win. We are going to either be the Lion of the world or a weak degenerating "what could have been".

Bunting has gotten very eccentric

There's definitely a whisper campaign that he has some form of dementia. It's like that MSM retiree Uncle Walter saying Rove was behind the Osama tape this past week and couldn't remember the last presidential election was 2000.
