I turned Fox off. The B team was worst than the A team by a long stretch and the A team was pretty damn sad.
This election was over hours ago.
Now is a darned good time for some "lawyer jokes" (with an Ohio spin) on FR to un-tense us a bit and prep us for the President's appearance shortly on TV.
GOOD STUFF!
Pete Dominici to go on TV and do what the coward anchors can't do ---call NM for Bush!
CBS declares Thune the winner in SD!!!!
Rather: Thune Wins!!!!!
SD:
(D) DASCHLE TOM 187370 49 812 827
(R) THUNE JOHN 196017 51 812 827
Todd is all in. Only the 10 Precincts in Shannon County can save him now... 12,466 people. Thune's up by about 8,650. The other 5 precincts are in Republican areas.
It's OVER.
Is it too late for me to drink champagne? It's 3:46 A. bloody M.,where I am.
I am not sure that hair is even real.... it might be some kind of colored wire...
CBS predicts Thune the winner. how bout that?
Dan Blather reporting Daschle's defeat, he looks like he is ready to drink hemlock Kool-Aid!
Ding Dong Daschle is dead in the eyes of CBS!
Ok...here are words I won't type again...."thank you, CBS" ;-)
Headline on Slate: Misunderestimated Again!
Love it!
Now Cynthia Bowers of CBS is pinning it on Blackwell the Ohio Secretary of State. Bowers says that Blackwell won't give the vote totals until all the ballots are counted. Well, no kidding. But the network can still project a winner based on no likelihood that Kerry takes 90% of the provisional ballots.
Word is Tom Daschle is Deeply Saddened!!!
I am not going to bed until I hear a victory speech!

Me too. After I saw Rather choke and sputter when he heard Bush was going to do it, I have to see that SOB's face when it happens.
I don't know what your problem is, but take it up with someone else. I have no idea what you are talking about, nor do I even care with that type of response.
YES!!!!!! Daschle is....
DEEPLY SADDENED!!!!!
and Peter Jennings held up USA Today w/headline "Deadlocked".
Now Jennings asking lol Yosri Fooda of Al Jazeera "What will the Arab world think when it wakes up tomorrow [sic] and sees that Bush is reelected?"
Ol' Yosri says it will be seen as a referendum on gw, and taht it plays into the hands of al quaida.
