ELECTION 2004: Virginia

I was in line by 5:50 AM in Northern Virginia. Touch screens. Super easy. Was number 40. In and out in 20 minutes. Line was getting quite long. Very good they opened at 6:00 vs 7:00 in MD.

the folks at the polls told me they had a line waiting for them to open at 6am. Hubby was 51 at 7am and I was 373 at 12:15.

My wife voted at about 11 and only GOP poll worker was present, so she stole the Dem sample ballots.

Hey, my mother in law is a poll supervisor in Henrico (Pump Road area). Bet she's busy today! Haven't talked to her because she is out of pocket from 5 a.m. this morning until probably 10 or 11 p.m. tonight!
