"Voted in North Haven at 11am...."

Voted in Stratford @12:15 - got there @11:15.
Lines are VERY long - elderly couple in front of me were complaining - had to remind them about Afghanistan - people waited for many hours to vote for the first time in 5,000 years - they agreed and thanked me for putting it in perspective.
Gotta watch my daughter when I get home from work so Momma can vote - and I need to make it to the (Republican) phone bank by 4:30 - gonna cut it close.
We're either gonna get 4 more years of W, or God has chosen to judge our nation - and it won't be pretty.

Voted in Wethersfield at 10:00. Unfortunately squarely in the 'rats corner but the Mrs. and I did our part.

Interesting side note: there was another registered voter listed at my address. We've gotten junk mail for her before but it's been at least 15 years since she lived in the house, if she lived there at all. I called the local registrar of voters to inform them but all I got was an "I'm busy" voice mail and left a message. Now, CT and my town are firmly blue hell states so I would doubt any shenanigans are going on, but it just goes to show how easy it would be to screw around with the voter roles.

I live in Litchfield County (NW corner of CT). Very heavy turnout in this (slightly red) area of the state. Lots of veterans/military/NRA stickers in the parking lot.

It's a long shot, but we're praying for a Bush upset. With enough "Reagan Democrat" crossovers, anything's possible.

Voted this morning and the lines were unprecedented. All the people there looked too pleasant to all be voting for Kerry! Connecticut may be blue but I don't think it is going to be as big a sweep as the Democrats would like.

Voted in South Windsor at 7:00 a.m. (Gore won 59% of the two-party vote here in 2000). Very heavy turnout. Lines were 5-6 times longer than normal.

Hummer with stickers all over it...

Are you from the Cheshire/Waterbury area? If so, I saw your Hummer about a week ago up near Blackies on West Main going toward Waterbury.

I voted in Branford 11:45ish. Hung out with the old ladies for a while in line. At 12:05, the lot was half empty and the line half of what it was when I went in.

My wife went to vote at around 10:00 and said the lines were way too long. She'll try again later.
