Polls don't open here until 6:00 AM I'll be voting after work , go home and watch the kids while the wife goes to vote. We can at least count on two votes for Bush here in Connecticut.

Voted in North Haven at 11am. Not very heavy turnout at that time, but the crowd was heavier than I've seen before & was very steady. Mostly seniors.

My son took my father & himself to vote around 10am. My father commented at that time there was a lot of young voters! Hope the youngins aren't falling for the dummyrat lies!!

Go Bush - Four more years!!!

well, it's kind of a moral dilemma...we know the 'rats are immoral, so should i do what the immoral would do or should i do what the moral person would do?

I live in a heavily Republican town.

HEAVY turnout.

I couldn't get into the town hall parking lot at 7AM to vote, so I went back at 11AM when I went to pick up the mail at the PO box.

One hour wait!

I remarked to one person in line that I had not seen it that heavy since Reagan beat Carter and again beat Mondale.

He said, "You weren't here in 1972 then, cause this is even bigger than Nixon-McGovern."

I needed to do my part, even in CT, I am hoping for Shayes as well as all Republicans. Westport is pathetically liberal, but it is a nice town!!!!!

LOL - I've seen your car, or a reasonable facsimile and my sons have commented on it. (They lust for Humvees and one with Bush/Cheney stickers is worthy of their great admiration!). You're more popular than you think! -a Norwalker

Just voted in Westbrook - a small town on the Connecticut Shoreline. I've been involved in politics for 15 years and have never seen the turnout so heavy. It was a fight to just get into the parking lot. This was at 11:00 AM and not usually a peak hour. I can't imagine what it will be like after 5:30 PM.

So far, about 35% of my district has voted. We may not help elect President Bush but we have Congressman Simmons to re-elect. (yes, I know he can be a RINO but consider the district and the alternative)

I voted in West Hartford, which is unfortunately blue-state country. The turnout was massive.

From a conservative nutmegger to the rest of the USA, a hearty "thank you" for your votes that prevent the nation from having to live under the freakish ideologies that tend to predminate in the northeast. We owe you.
