(Miami) Okay...My wife is at a precinct in Northern Hialeah/Southern Opalocka (She is pushing for the construction Bonds for Dade County and of course working as my Mole........)
That area is 50/50 really....you have alot of middle class Cubans and middle class African Americans....
The NAACP is out front observing....
A Republican Poll Watcher told my wife that he can't figure out where the Dem GOTV is...they (NAACP) were expected to be at the opening of the polls with a Bus load and he was there early to wait for them....(They have not arrived...and the NAACP folks said that they will not bus in to that station.
Lines are long....some African Americans walked out off the lines and where confronted by the NAACP officials...some ugly words...the African Americans left...saying "AH...it's really not that important to vote this year."
My wife has been talking to a Black Lady that is working at the precinct and they got around to talking about who they were voting for and the Black Lady said that she was voting for Bush because "He's been okay...and I don't like Kerry, although Bush shouldn't have been there in the first place cuz Gore won Florida." For some reason...Al Gore is loved by African Americans...there is NO energy FOR Kerry in the African American community.
Please tell us you are not in a heavy republican area.
Finally, I have a friend of mine who works at MIA and employs a lot of Haitians. He says they are really angry at Clinton and the Democrats for the mess he made with Aristide and supporting are supporting Bush. The lack of black voter excitment about John Kerry will affect this race here in Florida
What worries me are absentee, early and provisional voting.
From what I hear, one can vote early, then vote again on
elecyion day, and they have no way to check!
Anyone know more about this?

Voted in N. Orlando. Proably a half hour - 45 minutes wait. Saw some voters that likely voted Kerry. Crowd, upon first impression, was largely Republican. The voting was very well managed. No butterfly ballot, no electronic, it was a 'scan' type technology where we used a marker to complete an arrow next to our choice. Then, we sent the ballots manually ourselves through the vote counter. Seems like a great way to operate the vote.
On the way out, passed a freaky looking Move-On PAC guy, holding a sign that said "Did you vote?" My girlfriend said " Yeah, for the RIGHT guy, not YOUR guy" He did not comment.
Should go to the polls dressed in a soccer official's uniform and pace off the distance as they do for the denfenders forming a wall against a free kick.
1) Automated SuperOfElections message plays DemAd then says "Your ballot is in the mail".
2) Ballot never shows up in mail
3) Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church has it's exterior walls spray-painted with Skerry propaganda(10/30/04)
4) Voting location changed 3 times in the last 2 weeks by incompetent SOE
5) Post Office lets Absentee Ballots sit undelivered "erroroneously"
6) M. FatMoore shows up to spread more verbal venom

I honestly believe this is the case.
Please help get the word out that if the networks make an early announcement (before the polls close in the panhandle) about who wins Florida, Republicans need to keep voting. Even if they project Bush to win, gotta get to the polls.

My wife and I voted early in Okaloosa County in the Florida panhandle. Our county gave Dubya 74% of its vote in 2000 (heavy active/retired military presence, plus bible belt). The Supervisor of Elections is projecting an 80% turnout, versus 70% in 2000. Call-ins on local radio program regarding lines at precincts say the lines are long this morning, some longer than anyone can remember. Looks like the conservative base is turning out in droves here.
Call the police and have them arrested!
