NOOOOOO!!!! We're DOOOOOOOOOOOMED!!!!!
Get a grip. All the decent polls have good Bush numbers; the most accurate NM poll came out showing a 4-point Bush lead; NM almost always goes to the winner (of the popular vote).

It's happened there before.It's such a tiny place,after all.
Since this is just one wee town, N.H. doesn't split its EVs,and I think they split for algore, last time around, nobody should panic.
To: mhking
Oh! This is that wacky town! Hah, I'd forgotten. This is my first year in Mountain Time and I hadn't realized that it's tomorrow on the East Coast.

So is Dixville Notch really a bellwether for the rest of New Hampshire? Well, let's review the last few contested races...
2000 Republican
Bush 12, McCain 10, Forbes 1
WRONG: McCain won N.H.
2000 Democratic
Bradley 4, Gore 2
WRONG: Gore won N.H.
1996 Republican
Dole 11, Alexander 5, Buchanan 2, Forbes 1, Lugar 1
WRONG: Buchanan won N.H.
1992 Democratic
Clinton 3, Tsongas 1
WRONG: Tsongas won N.H.
1988 Democratic
Gephardt 4, Simon 3
WRONG: Dukakis won N.H.
1988 Republican
Bush 11, Dole 6, Kemp 5, Haig 2, DuPont 2, Robertson 1
RIGHT! Bush won N.H.

I also just heard it reported on the local Philadelphia station after Monday Night Football, that the vote totals were Bush-19 votes, Kerry 7-votes.
To: mhking
Screw New Hampshire. It has been infested with RATs from Massachusetts. I'll take Hawaii. Same number of Electoral Votes.
Up yours, Dixville Notch.

Dixville Notch was 19-7 Bush
To: jimthewiz
Dixville Notch, 19-7. FOX News just confirmed. It was a second early voting town in NH that went 15-15-1.

I sure hope that is not a picture of the nation. If it is I sure do need to buy some Tagamet. Send me some, will ya? I'm on a fixed income, but not a fixed stress level.

26 registered voters and 31 votes?
Ruh Roh - sounds like ACORN was registering voters in Dixville Notch!
