Now I've heard it all.
19-Bush, 7-Kerry.
Now I can go get some sleep - up at 5:00 to get in line. Want to be voter number 1.
Yes. I didn't realize there were two cities involved then figure out the #s. THEN saw your update!
That was from another early voting town...Hart's Landing or something like that.
"No Republican has lost there in 20 years (or even tied). Not good"
---How can 19-7 Bush be a bad sign???? I'm not getting why people seem to be upset by these numbers
Um, FReepers, it's TWO different towns....there, there, let me tuck you in tonight.
read post 173
I can't watch when Ron Reagan is on -- he is sickening.
Based on those vote results, Dan Rather and CBS has called the election for John Kerry. President elect Kerry will be joining Mr. Rather with minutes for his acceptance speech!
mhking, thanks! That's the best belly-laught I've had tonite- BTW, you're joking, right? Better turn on CBS just to make sure.
The original post was: 15-15-1 They corrected it after many posts.
2000 Bush 21 Gore 5 Nader 1 - Total 27
2004 Bush 19 Kerry 7 - Total 26
The old guy named Tollitson who ran things died since 2000.
His son runs it now.
So Bush loses a vote when old Tollitson Dies.
One Bush switches to Kerry
One Nder Switches to Kerry
Bush -2
Nader -1
Kerry +2
Ron Reagan's tutu...
The MSM trips over itself in attempt to elect Kerry.
Ignore some of the earlier posts. The title erroneously was showing a 15-15 tie instead of 19-7 so those early posters were commenting on that.
That's it. I'm stripping myself naked, wrapping myself in grease proof paper and hopping over to the Social Security office. TM
I have a feeling that Dan Ratherbiased will be using it by the end of the broadcast.
Thanks for clarifying! I post so slow. :(
yes, I'm a fan from long ago. Haven't kept up lately so I'm sure there're been changes.
Yeah, from what I've heard around here, the place is getting infected by a steady stream Massachussetts liberals. But I'll always have some gratitude for them for going to W in 2000. If they didn't, we'd of had Gore.
Ah, thanks!
Ah, thanks! Thanks helps. :^D
Um. In all this discussion of "past trends" and future history, there USED to be something called the ZERO factor.
It was a belief (based on past events) that ANY president elected in a year ending in ZERO would DIE in office.
Ronald Reagan faced the ZERO FACTOR and lived. Two terms.
George W. Bush was also elected in a year ending in ZERO (2000) and will have made it to his re-election without a scratch.
I was watching the game too! Blowout. I hope Bush does as well.
