Thought y'all might want to see some photos from the Cheney rally last night. My husband took these.
Here's the opening call on the conch shell

Very nice! Thanks for sharing!
Sooo cool! I know Hawaii is still a long shot, but how great would it be?!
Those sure are high grade shots. You sure know how to handle a camera. Thanks for posting them.
Cool. Thanks!
My husband said he was on the front row or two. He got there plenty early - wasn't sure how bad Waikiki traffic would be because of Halloween.
Those are fantastic!! What kind of camera do you have?? Those are some of the best FReeper rally photos I have ever seen.
Easy camera (HP photosmart 850 I think).
You lucky ducks! Thanks for sharing your photos with us -- they're awesome!
Yes, it's the HP Photosmart 850. We liked it so much we got our daughter one to take to college too. Absolute best zoom for the money (around $400).
is Hawaii looking like Bush country?
Wow... awesome pix and I'm totally jealous of your proximity to The Man.
All of the sudden, I feel a peace about this whole thing. For the first time in weeks, things seem to be falling into place. I know, I'll still vote tomorrow. But I just had to say that I'm going to drink a glass of wine, keep the TV off, and enjoy this feeling. Hopefully it'll last after tomorrow night!
Cheers!
Beautiful rally...great pics
You thought right!
Fabulous!
Thank You! What great photos!!! Would you happen to know how many people turned out for the V.P. and how many turned out for the has been?
You have an eye for composition, too, though, the camera only does part of the job. Very nice.
Mmmmm coconuts...
Sure hope so. I've heard rumors that it well might flip this time. 9/11 really hurt our economy that has otherwise been zipping along quite well before and again in the past year or so. Hawaii doesn't like the idea of terrorism, and with all the military here, who don't necessarily vote here but are big fans for Bush, it's hard to vote anti-troop.
