I'm 13th cousin of George W Bush. I would imagine alot of FReepers are related to the Bush family if their ancestors have been in the US since the 1700's.

He was John Howland, and he came over on the Mayflower as a "manservant." He fell overboard in a storm, but grabbed a trailing rope, and was rescued.
