This is an improvement for Bush over their last poll which showed a 45/45 tie. And it was conducted from 27-30 October, which confirms Bush has some momentum.
This must be the poll with a 3 point lead mentioned in an earlier post.
It includes Friday and Sat also. Seems that should be worth +1 or 2 more points for the Pres.
This looks like an okay showing for Bush. I think Pew leans a little to the Rat side, so this is probably good news.
Last Pew poll was a dead on tie, so this shows Bush improvement . . . but it will temporarily lower the RCP average, as it bumps out a 5+ Bush poll from the average . . .

I think it was Andrew Card that said earlier today that they felt the undecideds were breaking 60/40 Bush (of course, McAwful said on another show that it was about 65% sKerry).
I did hear a few weeks ago, and again this am that they are expecting a far larger turnout than normal and that all the poll models are for a much smaller number. So, if the votes are huge, all the poll #s can go out the window (don't ask me - I'm not a poller and don't know anything about polling models - I can guess, but that wouldn't be prudent.
But the Lakers were in the Finals this year, and when that happens the Republicans always win. I say the Cheesehead Gods are going to break the tie by punishing Kerry for calling it "Lambert Field" (not that the Green Bay Packers were the team that defeated the Redskins).
