Watching the way the "missing arms" story evolved reminds me of the old newspaper axiom, if there is no news..go out and make some. When the "United Nations Leak" first broke in the New York Times, it supposedly "proved" that Bush was a bad president because of the media-installed template of this election. "The President is responsible for ANYTHING the media says he should be responsible for. For example, car bombings and looting are HIS RESPONSIBILITY." (I don't remember FDR being "blamed" for D-Day deaths. Perhaps his generals made some wrong moves, but armchair quarterbacking is only beneficial to military tacticians. Saying The President was responsible in this instance is like saying FDR should have had better intel and attacked further North. THAT'S NOT HIS JOB!!!!) Everybody knows this "News Story" was released for one reason only....TO HURT THE PRESIDENT. So the mud was thrown, and the press waited expectantly to see whether it would stick.. "Ah, it stuck!" they exclaimed with glee. It only stuck because Bush isn't like previous presidents who would deny first and check with the facts later. It stuck because of a false premise- that presidents are responsible for whatever the press say they're responsible for. But be consoled...every liar will ultimately be judged by a heavenly court, and he who digs a pit will fall into it.
You're a POS troll. Go away.
Well, I dont think it stuck, Oh Yes: Its another item for Dumocrats to rant about, its another proof of John Kerry's rancid politics that he jumps on it without proof, but it hasnt hurt the President because anyone with a brain recognises it for what it is and those without brains are voting Kerry anyway.
Chris Wallace just said Fox would drop all the arms questions they had planned for Sunday .OBL seems to have wiped out that one.
I think you need to re read his post and stop drinking so early in the morning!!
As a newbie, you will be better recieved here by posting this type of content as a reply to an existing thread instead of creating a vanity.
Go for a walk and come back and read.

Welcome to FR.
You're right!
The MSM wants nothing less than our President to look foolish.
But we know better.
He is doing great and will win this election with more than enough votes.
What area of Ar. do you reside?
Sorry I didn't know the rules guys - I'll be playing over in the "general chat" sandbox from now on....see ya.

kerry's Afgan amnesia
This is a great read..and really destroys Kerry's Tora Bora, Afghanistan story.
A little town called Mammoth Spring. It's about 90 miles and 2 centuries away from Little Rock.
Reason I asked, is because our oldest son who is a Freeper, and his family live in Jonesboro.
You are on the very edge of buying Mo. tags! ;-)
There are prescription medications available for premature Zot.

My reading comprehension is more than adequate too.
To suggest that I should "...be consoled...[because]every liar will ultimately be judged by a heavenly court, and he who digs a pit will fall into it." is an insult to every Freeper in here....except the Jesus freaks.
This isn't funny. And it certainly isn't a time that we should be condescending to one another...by implying that eventually, some higher power will meet out justice.
I don't give a damn about some "afterlife".
I'm 58 and in tune with my own mortality. I cannot accept the notion that 50% of this great country will vote for sKerry. If that's a fact, then the USA that I grew up in has already been defeated and we have nobody but the academia, the NEA, and the MSM to blame.
Thomas Jefferson said that a revolution is good every now and then.
The time has apparently come if President Bush gets beaten by a treasonous, no-good SOB who should really be busting rocks instead of running for President.
