My meds are working just fine, thank you.

My reading comprehension is more than adequate too.

To suggest that I should "...be consoled...[because]every liar will ultimately be judged by a heavenly court, and he who digs a pit will fall into it." is an insult to every Freeper in here....except the Jesus freaks.

This isn't funny. And it certainly isn't a time that we should be condescending to one another...by implying that eventually, some higher power will meet out justice.

I don't give a damn about some "afterlife".

I'm 58 and in tune with my own mortality. I cannot accept the notion that 50% of this great country will vote for sKerry. If that's a fact, then the USA that I grew up in has already been defeated and we have nobody but the academia, the NEA, and the MSM to blame.

Thomas Jefferson said that a revolution is good every now and then.

The time has apparently come if President Bush gets beaten by a treasonous, no-good SOB who should really be busting rocks instead of running for President.

Bingo- I am a Jesus Freak. I'm encouraged that "Free Republic" also means freedom of religious expression. If it weren't for the "Christian Right," (although most who identify themselves with this group are not "Christian" based on the John 3:16 definition) George W. Bush would probably be a Senator from Texas and Al Gore would be running for a second term. I know everyone's a bit testy right now, but my rock-hard belief in the afterlife enables me, (and George W. Bush) to stand resolute no mater what comes on November 2nd. Incidently, not hating our apponents doesn't nueter us in a drag-down fight, it actually gives us the hope (and moral fortitude) to keep fighting. (Think of George Washington at Valley Forge) We see a bigger picture (outside the present events) because we believe ultimately, if we live the way we believe God wants us to live, justice will prevail.
