President Bush and Democratic challenger John Kerry remain locked in a close race for Florida's 27 electoral votes as they head into the final days of the 2004 campaign, a new poll indicated Thursday.
Among 16 percent of Florida voters who said they had cast early ballots, Kerry received 56 percent of those compared to Bush's 39 percent. [Editor's Note: NewsMax's Insider Report first revealed early voting results --

Silly..
In that same exact poll, Bush is up 49-46.
Meaning, among the 83% who haven't voted, Bush leads 54-46, more than enough to overtake those.
If early voting is concentrated in the southeast, the numbers mean nothing
Newsmax is fun, but it's not very reliable. Mostly screeds, television recaps and articles rewritten from the NY Post.
the survey is a Quinnipiac poll - which doesn't have much credibility in the south, IIRC.
The cat is long dead now, but I'm wondering if maybe you're channeling him.....
Broward? Pam Beach?
I'd wager it wasn't Pensacola.
Turn that freakout stress into energy to help Bush win ... that's it I will have to make 100 GOTV calls monday *and* email everyone on my list with pro-Bush and anti-Kerry material etc.
I freaked when I saw this Newsmax/AP story than I read the NRO Jim Gerahty column and my blood pressure went back to its normal level

First off, no one should be reporting on actual votes. Second, even if it is true, it is based on a very small sample and would have a margin of error in the 15-20% range. They probabably had a sample of 800 likely voters and 16% said they aleady voted, which means the sample size is only about 100 voters.
"This is freaking me out!"
That makes two of us!! I keep saying I'm going to swear off Polls, but then I see a good one, get sucked back in, then get broadsided with one like this! Is it Nov. 3rd yet!!!!
All this tells us that more liberals are voting early than are the Republicans.
Nothing more.
LAst time I knew, early voting is early voting and it doesnt represent the final total.
Newsmax.....never wa there a conservative site so willing to dispirit its readers.
I never grow tired of hearing Freeper's stupid cat jokes.
So... should Bush concede now, or wait until tonight?
Dan
Most people know that only the Democrats are voting early right now. Libs know they won't go to the polls if they don't vote early.
Lends credence to Gerahty.
It isn't the final vote I am worried about right now. It is the perception that Kerry has somehow taken control of Florida and possibly this election.
This guy is a TROLL. Only posts negative headlines and then says "this can't be" or "MSM is horrible" etc. More descrete than most trolls.
