I believe the ankle was the real reason. Didn't he have to have surgery on it everytime he pitched in the world series?
The story I heard was that his doctors reccomended that he not go because of the ankle surgery.

The talk radio stations in Boston are burning up with folks calling in to blame Kerry's people for strong-arming Schilling. You can get a good taste of it later today when CSPAN2 simulcats Howie Carr's radio show. Howie is the best when it comes to dogging Kerry and his listeners will be in full fury.

You're making a good move not going to DU. I did once and it is a painful experience. Hard to believe there are people in this country who behave that way.
I heard it was the Vets for Kerry office in Boston that caused the Red Sox to BE THE WORLD CHAMPS.
They have asked their witch friends in Salem on Halloween night to jinx the election for GW Bush. I'm scared, really concerned too.
