ABCNEWS HOLDS TERROR WARNING TAPE
**Exclusive**
In the last week before the election, ABCNEWS is holding on a videotaped message from a purported al Qaeda terrorist warning of a new attack on America, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned.
The terrorist claims on tape the next attack will dwarf 9/11. "The streets will run with blood," and "America will mourn in silence" because they will be unable to count the number of the dead. Further claims: America has brought this on itself for electing George Bush who has made war on Islam by destroying the Taliban and making war on Al Qaeda.
ABCNEWS strongly denies holding the tape back from broadcast over political concerns during the last days of the election.
The CIA is analyzing the tape, a top federal source tells the DRUDGE REPORT.
ABCNEWS obtained the tape from a source in Waziristan, Pakistan over the weekend, sources tells DRUDGE.
"We have been working 24 hours a day trying to authenticate [the tape]," a senior ABCNEWS source said Wednesday morning.
The terrorist's face is concealed by a head dress, and speaks in an American accent, making it difficult to identify the individual, but US intelligence officials believe that man may be Adam Gadhan - aka Adam Pearlman - a southern California native who was highlighted by the FBI in May as an individual most likely to be involved in or have knowledge of the next al Qaeda attacks.
According to the FBI, Gadahn, 25, attended al-Qaida training camps and served as an al-Qaida translator.
The disturbing tape runs an hour -- the man simply identifies himself as 'Assam the American.'

I agree with you,,this is not political.
Al-Qaeda is loosing credibility because we haven't seen another major attack since 2001. I believe they are under a lot of pressure to hit us even if it isn't perfect like the 9/11 attacks were.
We are going to get hit again...no doubt about it...

Guess we'll find out soon enough if this is yet another AQ bluff.

This is useful to the President in the sense that it focuses the issue of this election on terrorism......front and center and he has a clear lead on this supreme issue.
Isn't Waziristan, Pakistan where UBL is suppose to be hiding?
I'm puzzled why allegedly a southern Californian native who obviously doesn't want W to be elected would do something like this right before election. Surely he must know this will only boost our resolve to re-elect President Bush. I suppose he's just insane.
I don't think Al Qaeda has ever given a specific warning before a real attack. It lessens the chance for their success.
I hope the terrorists realize this is NOT Spain.

This is Adam Pearlman:
He was born and raised in California, on rural goat ranch in Western Riverside County.
Here's another look:
He also goes by the names Abu Suhayb Al-Amriki, Abu Suhayb, Yihya Majadin Adams, and Yayah. The FBI would very much like to talk to him.
Pearlman is wanted "only for questioning" but don't let that fool you; he is also considered armed and dangerous, and his face is currently displayed right on the FBI's home page.
Several others share that same spotlight:
Pearlman caught my attention because he grew up here. His English is probably perfect, and he can blend in and travel around effortlessly. He can go just about anywhere and not raise the least suspicion.
Look at his photos again:
Look at his mouth; as different as these photos are, that's one part of his face that is distinctive, and than isn't going to change.
Pearlman is 26 years old, of average height, weight, and build, probably not as fat as he looks in that first picture. I'd bet a dollar he has short hair and is clean-shaven now, too.
Try to remember that mouth. Maybe one of us will hit a million-to-one shot and actually spot this asshole.
