WashPost Tracking: Kerry: 50% Bush: 48%
I fail to see how this is helpful to us. In fact, I fail to see how it happens at all. Why would Kerry poll better over the weekend? It makes no sense.
Don't say it is because Democrats are more likely to be home as to where Republicans are more likely to be out becuase that is hogwash. Have you been to the mall lately or Walmart on a Satruday afternoon? Have you seen who is out shoppnig at these places?
Relax.
If you must look at polls, at this point, I have heard that the only good way to use the poll figures is to look at the average of all of them. Some polls lean to the right, some to the left, some polls weight Dems more than Republicans, etc...
Look at Real Clear Politics to get a better idea.

I do not belive any NEWS that comes from NY.
Oh Relax! Bush is up 8 points in Florida per Gallup and Rasmussen just released the following on Ohio: Bush 50%, Kerry 46%. So Be Happy!
If there's one poll I wouldn't trust, it would be the Washington ComPost.
The Post website has Kerry at 48 and BUSH at 50.....Bush is up 1 point from yesterday.
See for yourself.

Kerry is not acting like somebody who's winning. Bush is.
While this certainly is not desirable news, the sky is not falling!
Do not overemphasize one poll!
As expected...steady as she goes folks.
LOL-I swear with my nerves some days I feel like chicken little running around with my head cut off!
The pollers get more dems at home on weekends
The same polls shows that 9 % have ALREADY Voted and they went Bush 51 to 47% source ABC Radio at 5PM on the east coast. Betting that will be close to the National Numbers Tuesday.
It is possible, although Sat. and Sunday will still be on the sample tomorrow.
I figured Kerry would take a 3 to 4 point lead today based on the weekend numbers. That didn't happen.
What did he say?
Outlier.
In 50 fo the past polls, Bush is ahead in 41, Kerry in 6, and 3 were ties.
That's a crock! Last week 16-18 they had him PLUS 5!
What do you expect?
Bush refuses to defend himself.
I'm worried about all these polls, even those that put President Bush ahead by a few points. While roaming through the electoral-vote.com website I came across the results of the final polls conducted before the election in 2000: http://www.electoral-vote.com/info/polls-2000.html
Bush had a lead comparable then to what he has now in the polls that show he is ahead - but we know how the popular vote ended up back then. I won't feel confident until he has built up a significant lead in the polls.
