I prefer to think this is a lie...... trying to make it look like kerry is searching to demoralize us.
i just heard david horowitz on the radio and i am pumped.

what really happened, I think, was that Bush's good sample reported on 21st (night of 20th) dropped off... look at chart

Bush gains one among registered voters, from 46 to 47, and his likely voter numbers stay the same at 48. Kerry registered numbers stay at 48, and his likely voter totals go from 49 to 50?

I find how the Washington Post numbers for registered voters and likely voters can go in opposite directions very confusing.

Please do not sully this thread with good news. It upsets the doomed among us. ;)

This is a three day tracking poll, not a four day poll.

Look at the graph. Kerrys peaks are short lived.

I don't know about polls, but I do remember Janet Cooke.

I wouldn't worry too much. By Friday, if thing hold to form, Bush will be up. And the weekend cycle starts all over again.

has Kerry always received a bump on weekends?

Look at the curve. It speaks for itself.

It is Saturday AND Sunday that Kerry polled exceptionally well in ABC/WPost.

Bush actually gained a point among RV in today's results.

it doesnt explain why his average went up a point since yesterday. if anything it should have went down a point unless kerry had another good polling day yesterday.

Are you detecting the same thing I think I'm detecting, which is that Bush did well the last two days and we will start seeing the results tomorrow?

I can't see how Bush can lose 6 points in a week. I'm not saying he's doing better or worse, but these polls are like reading tea leaves.

The thing that concerns me is that kerry's #s keep going up. Doesn't todays number mean yesterday was a good day for k! Ugh. This is making me ill.

Yeah, but according to that logic (and I agree with you), Kerry #'s will go back up next Monday after the weekend, just in time for the election.
