Scott Peterson's Defense Could Rest Tuesday Scott Peterson's defense team could rest its case Tuesday.
On Monday, his lawyer called on Peterson's mother to try to explain why he had nearly $15,000 in cash on him when he was arrested. She says she gave him back $10,000 that she accidentally withdrew from his account.
His lawyer also questioned police about whether someone else could have been responsible for the death of Scott's wife, Laci, and her baby.
Prosecutors say he killed her and dumped her body into the San Francisco Bay nearly two years ago.
The defense maintains ........
He is probably hoping everyone is falling asleep, like I have. Just too much going on at once. I've lost track of the case. :(
Would somebody please put a mint on Scotty's pillow?
So where was Fieger last night?? Greta's show is boring without his fiery passion!
I am tired of the spit balls being thrown out by the demorats! I have been skimming the news lately....TMI...heehee...
Our long national nightmare is almost over...
Kobe and Martha too! What shall we do? Woe! Woe!
I may want to after next Tuesday.
lol Ya think??!!
Can't you just see family dinners with Lee, Jackie, Janey and the other assorted given-away and abandoned kids trying to figure out how to cobble together testimony to cover some of the more agregious behavior of their spoiled baby brother??
Wonder what kind of scenario they came up with to cover his out-of-body experience during Laci's vigil? Can American Druids take themselves to the Eiffel tower using chants, or special incense? Hmm, I might give Geragos ideas, better stop! ;-)
This testimony was appalling. Justin #5 would love it, let's hope the rest of them ignore it.

The jury only
sees (in theory) the data
prosecution gives
and I don't know if
prosecutors here have done
better than OJ's . . .
The little I've watched
makes me think that they have proved
Scott is one strange guy,
but I don't think they
have proved that he did the crime.
I bet he gets off.
I killed my TV,
chained it to a concrete block,
tossed it in the bay . . .
Next day, there it was,
dripping wet but plugged back in
blaring Court TV . . .
I realize that Scott's mother is no rocket scientist, but to withdraw "accidentally" thousands of dollars from his account and then hand him the cash instead of depositing it back into his account? And why even have this much cash on hand? The words liar and moron come to mind.
Whenever Cardoza, Weintraub (who revealed herself to be truly incompetent in a case shown by on Court TV), a creep named Gotlip (sp.?), a gray-haired angry looking guy on Larry King, and a few others start babling I put on mute or just switch channels.
WAIT ! you got Michael coming up ! what a freak show that's gonna be with worldwide demonstrations of how everyone is picking on Mikie with all those kids parading in the streets ....it's the King of POP on trial for a little too much POP.
Thanks for the ping rb...I cannot wait for closings. Hope Birgit closes.
I'd forgotten about Mikey! Joy! Joy!
On a related subject:
Murders were up for the fourth straight year, according to an annual FBI report released Monday.....more than 16,500 in 2003 - or almost six murders for every 100,000 U.S. residents.

BYW, I read that Cardoza fought hard to keep Kimberly Newsome from being the lead prosecutor on the San Francisco dog mauling case and insisted on Hammer (who IMHO is inept and wimpy) and won. A "male chauvenist"? In any case, if true, it is a dangerous amount of power given to him. Since when does some defense attorney determin who will be the prosecutor?
