BYW, I read that Cardoza fought hard to keep Kimberly Newsome from being the lead prosecutor on the San Francisco dog mauling case and insisted on Hammer (who IMHO is inept and wimpy) and won. A "male chauvenist"? In any case, if true, it is a dangerous amount of power given to him. Since when does some defense attorney determin who will be the prosecutor?
Cardoza is officially gagged by the judge. He did a "mock" cross-examination of the inmate for the defense. This technically makes him part of the defense team, and he is no longer allowed to comment on this case. Boo hoo for him, hooray for us (I always thought he was a shill for Geragross)
