What You Tell Me What the Hell is wrong with New York State?

Posted on 10/25/2004 7:58:20 PM PDT by factmart

Since September 11, 2001 the United States people have worried about another attack on New York. President Bush did everything he could to go after the terrorists who had done this terrible thing to the people of New York. Don't the people of New York Know that if a nuclear bomb ever hits the US chances are that New York is the city that will be hit, and still they are not standing with our Commander in Chief. They would actually think of voting for a Dove, John Kerry, at this time. I don't get it. Please, people of New York. Wake Up!

Fact: The Military backs the President 3 to 1 ... why would the people of New York not back the President of the US (Bush) at a time like this. Can you imagine how demoralized the Troops would be on November 3rd if they woke up to a Kerry/Edwards Presidency. And can you see the Terrorists Dancing and Singing and Praising Allah?

Freepers ... please explain this to me. Why New York is not backing President Bush after all he's done for New York. I'm baffled and very pissed off. From the State of Wisconsin, who I hope doesn't vote for Kerry.

Herb Kohl spent 8million of his own dollars to win a job which pays less than 100,000 dollars a year, why would anyone invest more to get less? Answer, because he is corrupt as are most politician millionaires, not only
are they corrupt they also have an agenda. That agenda includes dismantling our republic and turning it over to the socialist one worlders in Europe and the U.N.. These
people have underestimated the resolve of real Americans
and their carcasses will litter the vast American countryside we are too well armed and too aware to be caught napping and we are better shots than any hessian federal ATF Agent any day of the week!

Nonetheless, let's not forget where most Conservative media come from- New York!: home of the Fox news channel, the New York Post, the Wall Street Journal, Rush Limbough and Sean Hannity on WABC AM talk radio.

I stopped at a rest area, on the NY state Thruway. It was decorated, inside, with a southwestern theme. The outside, looked like an Adirondack lodge. NY has many beautiful themes, that it could have used.
NY has Niagara Falls.
NY has the ocean, on Long Island.
NY has the Long Island Sound.
NY has the Palisades, on the opposite side of the Hudson.
NY has NY City, including: Manhattan, Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, and Staten Island.
NY has the mighty Hudson River.
NY has West Point, and Fort Ticonderoga.
NY has the Catskill Mountains.
NY has the Adirondack Mountains.
NY has hundreds of lakes, including 2 great lakes (Ontario and Erie), the largest inland lake in the USA (Oneida Lake), and it has, Lake Champlain.
NY has the Thousand Islands.
NY is on the St. Lawrence Seaway.
NY has the Finger Lakes.
NY borders, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Canada.
NY has the Erie Canal.
NY has potato farms, thousands of Apple orchards, and many Dairy farms.
Not another state can compare with NY. Just move the Democrats out, and it would be Shangri La.

Same thing that's wrong with most of the people here in Washington state ... they've all been drinking the same kool-aid.

Maybe it just hasn't been destroyed enough yet to get their attention.

Of course, as I've said ad nauseum - I'd rather live in my car than live in New York.

New York is not worth the life of one American soldier.

Sean Hannity has a weekly segment called "Man on the street interview"

He sends a technician out to the streets of New York City, usually a different place each time, and randomly picks out 3 or 4 people to answer some very basic questions.

He starts out with "Who is the President" (almost everyone knows this one).

Then he asks "Who is the Vice-President". Amazingly, less than a quarter of the people know the answer.

Then he asks "who is Bush running against in this election". They all know its Kerry.

Then he asks "Who are you voting for". They always answer "Kerry". He asks "Name one thing that Kerry has accomplished in his 20 years in the Senate". No one has ever had an answer that had any basis in fact yet.

Answer to your question: NYC votes for democrats because they are, in general, apathetic. They vote for democrats because its the socially correct thing to do - how can you go to a party and not bash Bush?

An article in the paper a few days ago told of FL natives and southerners moving to Georgia, or North Carolina, and I am selling in the Spring, after about a year here, and moving back to Texas.

Democrat New York mindset; " For those people to knock down these towers, we must have done something very bad to make them so angry with us."...Case Closed!

They would rather have their precious liberal in the White House than be safe. I have to tell you that if Kerry gets in and New York is hit again due to his incompetence, I won't be able to summon up a great deal of sympathy.

I dunno, but my new across the street neighbors, from Long Island, just moved here to ATL and promptly put up a Kerry sign in their yard. :-/

I am convinced that it would be a good thing if the Moslems detonated nukes in New York City, San Francisco, and Los Angeles.

You are scum.

I can giveyou one opinion, which I hear from a family member. Bush should have gone after saudi Arabia instead of Iraq. That's not my opinion, even though I do believe Saudi Arabis is the queen bee, and must eventually be dealt with.

There's two big problems with your forecast.
"it would be a good thing if the Moslems detonated nukes in New York City, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. "

First, I live here.

Second, what you are trying to say is that the capitol and/or largest city(s) in just about all 50 states are the most liberal clots of voters in those states.

You can look at Texas, Colorado, New Mexico, or Georgia, and find the same pattern.

Your friends would run out of bombs no matter how much had gone lost before we got into Baghdad.

NYC runs the vote in NYS through numbers. Far too many people living and voting in NYC began their lives in other places, like the state of Wisconsin. Just as Fallujah is a collection point for islamic "warriors" NYC is a collection point for the liberal flotsam that grew in fly-over country.
