KERRY SPOT
Jim Miklaszewski of NBC News pretty much dismantled the New York Times attack on behalf of Kerry today.
NBC News: Miklaszewski: April 10, 2003, only three weeks into the war, NBC News was embedded with troops from the Army's 101st Airborne as they temporarily take over the Al Qakaa weapons installation south of Baghdad. But these troops never found the nearly 380 tons of some of the most powerful conventional explosives, called HMX and RDX, which is now missing. The U.S. troops did find large stockpiles of more conventional weapons, but no HMX or RDX, so powerful less than a pound brought down Pan Am 103 in 1988, and can be used to trigger a nuclear weapon. In a letter this month, the Iraqi interim government told the International Atomic Energy Agency the high explosives were lost to theft and looting due to lack of security. Critics claim there were simply not enough U.S. troops to guard hundreds of weapons stockpiles, weapons now being used by insurgents and terrorists to wage a guerrilla war in Iraq. (NBCs Nightly News, 10/25/04)
If Jill Abramson, managing editor of the New York Times, had a shred of concern over her paper's reputation for getting the facts right never mind objectivity or fairness, she would be running the correction - or at least this blatantly contradictory information - in the giant headline font and above-the-fold location that today's story got. But I guess the interest in echoing the sentiments of Maureen Dowd is more important than getting it right at the Old Gray Lady.
That's an interesting pix of sKerry that you posted. Recent photo's of Bush events show big stadiums filled to capacity with thousands upon thousands of Bush supporters.
This picture shows mostly a wall in a tall building with some supporters on either side. Interesting perspective.

So this means what? The whole story of missing explosives was all a farce??????????
Nice. For an extra dig, you can address them as the Old Gay Lady. Which is all too true. Last time I heard, their entire front-page editorial staff was gay.
It appears so...
Bingo.
Who reported this? Jayson Blair? LOL!!!!
Hey, I heard that this morning, too...from a very reliable source!
I'm watching PBS here in NC and the BBC television just ran 2 huge segments on how the weapons were missing and showed Kerry at the Philly Rally speaking about it. This is about 2 hours after seeing it break here on FR and they are still smearing the President. The BBC then went on to slam the United States over 'threatening to attack europe' over these GPS systems. It was just sickening. The BBC reporter said, "The Americans claim that they just want stability". Thats all Americans ever want! Except we're too busy defeating Tyrants and defending liberty to even think about disarming. Perhaps these BBC reporters would like to see China as the lone superpower and see how different the world is...
In any case, my main reason for writng this was just to pass on that this fradulent story is still being reported as news, here on Taxpayer subsidized TV stations by the BBC.
The exact same line was used by Mike Savage. What an idiot that guy is on talk radio.
The explosives were long gone from this facilty before we invaded. They are most probably in Syria.
LLS
Sean interviewed President Bush (you can hear it all on his radio show tomorrow)and then mentioned the info on this thread,re NBC.
As far as I know, lunatic, foaming at the mouth cretin O'Donnell still has his job on MSNBC.Mark Levin,FR's very own holdonnow, started his radio show with O'Donnell going insane and Mark tore him a bunch of new ones. Then Mark had John O'Neil on.:-)
Then hopefully the MSM will be running this tomorrow. If that happens, Kerry will have egg all over his face. Wait, he's got egg on his face now!!!!!!!!!! Or is that the botox??
Will be interesting to see how they spin this tomorrow. Notice hardly anything was mentioned on the Times article about Kerry's LIE?
Old Gay Lads?
LOL!
Yes, plenty of news is out there but when the dogs turn on each other it is priceless!
just like AWOL, 'Bush lied', those 19 words, Joe Wilson et al.... they simply do not care if they are reporting lies. They have a motto:
No good news for Bush, No bad news for Kerry
