You are seeing it first hand all I am seeing is third hand via TV and Internet and to me it seems awful.

I find it so amazing how much coverage there is on the news in the UK when we have a general election you have a large segment on the news but most other current affair programs may mention it but not devote their whole air time to it. Has it been like this before or is there more interest or obsession this year?
