**Great photos of VP Cheney on today's dose aren't they - he looks great and pretty relaxed. What is the secret?**

Four hearts attacks, by-pass surgery and a pacemaker - sorry could not resist that.

Seriously though I think he is a person that enjoys stress and I do not believe that his heart trouble has anything to do with pressure or stress because the most stressful times he has been heart problem free.

Hello homemom! I so needed this thread today. I listen to talk radio some days and today while I was doing laundry I listened to Neal Boortz. He believes Kerry will win, because he says dems are better at getting their people to vote. By the time I finished listening, I turned the radio off real quickly, I was down. But then I turned it back on when Rush came on and felt much better after listening to him! Anyway, I've decided to vote for heavy rains in all the swing states, I know the Republicans will vote regardless of weather, but dims generally dont'.

Hello!

My friend from NM says pray for a huge snowstorm up north, and a nice sunny day in southern NM. She says the Libs. mostly live up North. Tho, of course, they'd blame the snow on Bush (probably has to do with the lack of flu shots!) and send in their lawyers . . .

I don't think there is much chance the lawyers won't show up regardless. Sounds like there is an influx of them all over the place!! As much as I am anxious for the election to be over, I dread the day after. :~) Well, so long every one for now. I am going to get the children in bed and settle down to watch Hannity and President Bush. This interview should be very good.

It gets depressing to listen to the Dims so I try not to. I think it's interesting to listen to Rush and the others speculate about winning this state or that state and the different scenarios.

It will be an interesting week.

Anyone predicting any more surprises? I wish more than anything the'd catch UBL.

LOL - good one! Yes I think after all that medical history it would place a different perspective on life for you. I really like Dick Cheney - i've always had a soft spot for him since he was Secretary of Defense for GHW Bush. I always looked out for news about him during the dark Klintoon years and it was so good to see him back this time by W's side. They make such a good team.

I got the feeling from watching this that Ohio has the ground swell of support for the President.

Well, good, because there IS a ground swell of support for the President in Ohio. :o)

We'll win it for the President by MORE than it takes to overcome the shameless attempts to steal it by the Dems.

I went to an organizational meeting to be a Phone Bank captain for the final 72 hours and election day (they got WAY more volunteers than they needed to be poll observers), and this campaign is just AWESOME!

The GOTV effort is beyond belief, and we're doing things that have NEVER been done before!

It's exciting to be a part of it all!

I have booked the day after the election off work to watch it on TV but I know part of me will regret this because I will be so anxious, angry and I am trusting eventually relieved and so eventually eventually able to celebrate the re-election of Bush/Cheney.

It was OK. I'm not the best meatloaf maker in the world. To top it off, mr.h ate at his moms at noon, and guess what she made??? Yep, meatloaf, and she IS one of the best meatloaf makers. :-(

What are courgettes?

If you have more poll observers than you need, please advise the 'observer' coordinator to send some of the volunteers to Cuyahoga and Franklin counties -- I know they could use more 'bodies'!!!

DollyCali: What about these OUTRAGEOUS absentee ballots in Cuyahoga County? . . . What can be done to challenge these ballots and/or train Republican voters to use the ballots properly? DEMOCRATS ARE SUCH SLIME!!!!

Deb, I just heard yesterday that they have more poll observers in Cuyahoga County than they asked for too (and that's a LOT!)

I don't know about Franklin, but it might be the same way there too.

They are a vegetable which is part of the cucumber family you can serve them separately just slice them and boil them for about 8 mins or you can put them into casseroles.

They look like baby cucumbers about 6 - 8 inches long.
