At one point or another, most of us wished Hussein would meet with this fate. Some of our papers may have even expressed the desire this would happen at the hands of his own people, to save us the bother of having to do it militarily. The point is, the dastardly expression by the UK Guardian isn't totally without precident.
The problem for me is this. Hussein's long track record of abysmal world-class despicable behavior was legendary. The list of nations he attacked, the millions of people whose deaths he caused, the numbers of his own people he, his sons and his henchment slaughtered extensive. How can any respectable citizen of the world, suggest that someone who sought to bring Hussein down by legitimate means, be deemed worthy of assassination for doing so?
Honest to God, this old world's occupants are sinking back into the primordial muck. Just because they can spout any old junk and get it into print, doesn't mean that they are not regressing to a time when rational logical discernment based on an advanced learned society was impossible.
As much as anything, the UK Guardian's voice, indicates the colapse of the global society. To it, and many people of the world, Bush is equal to Hussein. He is also equal to terrorist Osam Bin Laden in their eyes.
My God, where are these folks headed if not to total anarchy. This is not only a very dark time in our nation's history, it is a time when the bright light of global advancement is being extinguished at an alarming rate.
It is my opinion, that the left in our nation has allied itself with those who would turn out those lights forever. May God have mercy on their souls. I won't.
