CHENEY: "I understand John Kerry bought some camoflauge gear today, which tells me he doesn't do a lot of goose hunting. Looks like he's got an 'October Disguise' to cover up his anti-gun votes. The 2nd ammendment is not a photo-op."

"I don't know about everyone else's neck of the woods, but I'm here in Southern California and I watched about five stories this morning on local and CNN news about Kerry's hunting trip and every single one was by a woman anchor or reporter who was obviously disgusted that Kerry would kill an innocent animal. Seriously. This cannot play well with the bleading-heart animal lover liberals that Kerry needs.

Kerry has been going for the conservative vote from day one. Strong on the military, lower taxes, against gay marriages, now for guns, no surprise. He thinks he has the Bush hating vote in the bag. Probably does!

Actually, the pants are nice for duck-and-goose hunting - they have waterproof facings on the front of the leg and halfway up the back. Very useful when friendly wet Labs decide to wind back and forth against your legs. Of course, this pair have obviously just come off the hanger from Bass Pro Shop ten minutes before the photo-op. Not only perfectly clean, but the pants hems are still stiff.
But the SHOES are Sperry Topsiders - you can see the grommets for the leather thong just above the heel of his left shoe.
He must have just stepped off his Yacht for the photo-op. Where the heck are his DUCK BOOTS?????

It means that Kerry bought the hunting gear TODAY.....just for the photo-op. The VP is making the point that Kerry obviously doesn't hunt if he had to run out and buy gear to do it in. Capiche?
