The local morning show at the classice rock station here in Memphis is upset with the way Hannity treated Nader last night. The guy is a Bush supporter but is making a big deal on how Nader was treated. Anyone see it? I watched the VP only.
Are you listening to the "Wake-up Crew"? Who is upset?
I'm sure Hannity was descent to Communist Comrad Nader
i heard only a little bit at the very beginning... he was being very rude to nader, saying that nobody cared what he thinks, that his campaign was useless, and wondering why he was even on the show... i remember thinking to myself as i was walking out the door that Rush would never treat anyone that way, even if it WERE true
He beat the crap out of Nader. Nader looked like he was having a small stroke -- eyes unfocused and lids heavy, stuttering, couldn't talk in complete sentences, large incoherent. I felt sorry for him. He's clearly a man on the verge of collapse. Hannity and he swapped insults. A very strange display.
Sean had three 'guests' last night. Cheney, Mary Landreau and then Nader. Sean got pissed at Landreau when she basically said his interview with the VP was an infomercial. Nader came on and was (it appeared to me) joking with Sean about those softball questions to the VP. Well Sean went off on Nader calling him a loser and having no message and no one that cares for his issues, etc. I thought Nader was just playing with Sean, but Sean took him seriously and took his head off with his return fire.
I didn't watch it so may be way off here, but if I were Ralph Nader, I'd be joining the Republicans about now. In fact, I wrote to him and suggested he come on over. The Dems have been vicious with him, keeping him off the ballot, etc. Once again exposing their true colors.
Said he had no business being in the debates because he has no support / no plan / etc.
Wouldn't let him get away with saying the American electoral system is rigged.
I can't really remember exactly what went down, but it did get pretty heated.
People should more upset with the elitest, condescending way Sen Landreau treated Sean last night.
I think Nader may have started it though.
Nader looked pretty spooky. The left side of his face looks like he has had a stroke.
Bet him $1,000 he wouldn't get 1% of the vote.
I do not think Sean is an intellectual giant by any means. I will take is grit, determination and passion anywhere anytime. He consitently aggresively attacks liberals face to face on the show. He has all my respect for that.
Sean hit back with an I-can-call-names-too, calling Nader "Loser Ralph". Nader tried to tar and feather Hannity and all of Fox for being soft on the Bush campaign, but Sean mentioned how they've offered repeatedly to the Kerry Campaign for him or Edwards to come on and be interviewed by Alan.
My eyes glazed over when Nader started on with his socialist blather about "living wages for all Americans" and such.
Hannity savaged Nader. He was a bloody pulp by the end of it.
I am, I loathe that crooked witch.
I certainly don't feel sorry for Nader. If he can't stand up to a talk-show host, he has no business running for President.
probably so ... thanks
It seemed as though Hannity couldn't connect with Landreu so he took it out on Nader. Positively flummoxed him, Nader was gobsmacked.
I saw the interview and thought Hannity was pretty rude. I think he may have been fired up by his interview with Dem Senator Landrieu who really riled him. She was abusive, condescending and plain ridiculous.
