With the talk about voter fraud, the fact that Kerry will declare "an early victory," and the fact that Kerry will contest no matter if Bush wins, I am getting stressed out. Each poll is like a roller coaster. What are you guys doing when you need to take break from this madnesss?
I just had back surgery, so I'm pretty limited to what I can do. But I do have a lot of prayer time. God will honor the prayers of the faithful. And that includes President Bush. I have every faith that this will be so.
"...self-inflcition of my own suffering ..."
Nice phrase. I like it....
Come on here and bash Kerry and make fun of that girlie-man's pictures along with Breck Girl's pictures since they look like giant turds.
Hoiwever, God does let people have leaders like Clinton, if that's what the idiots want. I hope not this time.
IF I'm really stressed I like to listen to Yes-Close to the Edge with my headphones on ...
I'm with you there, FRiend. During the third Presidential debate, I got a call from work (emergency). In the middle of sorting out the problem, someone asked me what I was doing when they called. "Oh, not much," I answered. "Just watching the debate, cursing Kerry, and cleaning my guns."
Man, you could have heard a pin drop on that teleconference after I said that.
Agreed. :)
Between the baseball games, debates and polls, chocolate cake soothes.
"Drinking heavily."
Don't need an excuse to do that!
I would suggest that you read about the famous psychology experiment known as the "Executive Monkey".
I work for a major corporation. I have come to learn that although I can make a difference, I really can't in the grand scheme of things. So I have learned not to worry about things I can't fully control. I vote. I try to convince my friend and neighbors to vote as I do. I work for my local party apparatus. I hope. I pray. But my life and the well being of my wife and kids are more a factore of what I do rather than who's in the White House. Yes I know that this year is different with the war and all. But I still have to get up every day kiss my wife and kids and go to work.
Then I drink heavily!!
I'm actually watching the Red Sox games. Much more calming ...
Zanex.....every womans drug of choice. Never been on a nerve drug in my LIFE!!! I need it now!! And pray...God listens to me much better when I'm not screaming hysterically......or so I think. :)
I go out in the garage and work on one of my British cars.
My husband asked me...."Are you going to be able to pray for a President Kerry?"
When I hesitated...he said, "Looks like you have some work to do, huh?"
Made me stop and think.
That would be a real test....
Do what I did. Lose use of one of your lungs. Sure helps ya kick the habit! *kaff-kaff*
I'm also doing a lot of praying, but if you must let out a little aggression, try batting the penquin. :-)

I am a calm, cool customer in life.
If nothing else, it really seems to tick off many people around me. :-)
How I'm coping:
1. I'll be at our Bush/Cheney HQ this weekend to make calls.
2. I've also signed up as a representative for the MN Secretary of State to visit polls and check them out on Nov. 2.
3. I'm an active ProtestWarrior and we are mobilizing as much as we can to protest the kooks. We had a great turnout at the Vote For Change Concert, and are recruiting warriors to greet "Artists for Kerry" at a catholic college Thursday night.
It's helping with the poll roller coaster emotions I'm experiencing. Like Rush says, only huge turnout for Bush will keep the Dumbocrat lawyers from stealing this election. MOBILIZE!
Exactly right! We are arrogant people if we think we can second-guess what God's plan is.
Not really. I pray for Kerry all the time. I also pray for Osama bin Laden. I pray that they are bestowed with one of God's greatest gifts: a conscience that won't quit.
