With the talk about voter fraud, the fact that Kerry will declare "an early victory," and the fact that Kerry will contest no matter if Bush wins, I am getting stressed out. Each poll is like a roller coaster. What are you guys doing when you need to take break from this madnesss?

For the last 6 days I have worked the phone banks, put together 300 yard signs, Checked voters ID's and handed out over 600 tickets to a President Bush Rally in PA tomorrow. I will not have him loose and know I didn't do everything I can.

Yesterday I got a good chuckle when I saw a planter with a Kerry-Edwards sticker pasted on it right at the height a dog would lift his leg. I don't think it was intentional, but it made me smile!

There is little that takes my politically-obsessed mind off of the November 2nd election right now. There is too much at stake.
I go to a lot of movies, such as "Team America," and do everything I can to get yard signs, etc., and do my part to help Bush win.
By nature, I worry too much. It is hard to imagine a Kerry presidency right now. The message that the rest of the world would get from the U.S. would be just devastating to our future. It would show that if you just gripe at us enough and call us enough names, we'll capitulate to your demands and remove anyone you don't like.
And the message to terrorists? You have the power and the influence to remove those obstacles in your way; world opinion is quietly (and not-so-quietly) on your side, and you have a foothold of influence and sympathy in America so strong that you can remove a sitting President from office.
I cannot even imagine what the Israelis will collectively feel if Bush is ousted. Can you even understand the distraught that they will quietly and bravely have to go through? It will be seen as an overwhelming victory against "Zionism" in the collective Muslim world and Arab press. I don't want to even think about the new strength and enthusiasm the anti-Israeli forces in the world will feel after successfully ousting the most Pro-Israel president we've seen.
So to answer you question, I pray a lot about this election. A lot.

He shoots at mouse, wings girlfriend instead Wednesday, October 20, 2004 Associated Press
CONFLUENCE, Pa. -- A Somerset County man missed a mouse he was trying to shoot with a small-caliber handgun and wounded his girlfriend instead, state police said. Donald Rugg, 43, of Confluence, was trying to kill the rodent with a .22-caliber handgun when his girlfriend, Cathy Jo Harris, 38, apparently went into the line of fire and was hit in the arm early yesterday morning, state police said.
She was taken to Somerset Hospital where she was listed in fair condition, said hospital spokesman Greg Chiappelli.
Neither Rugg nor Harris could immediately be reached for comment.
State police said they won't charge Rugg, but advised against people shooting firearms inside.
A little help?

I saw your tagline the other day, and laughed so hard I thought I'd break a rib. Unfortunately it was on a serious thread where it would have been inappropriate to say so!
