What Are You Doing To Calm Your Nerves?

With the talk about voter fraud, the fact that Kerry will declare "an early victory," and the fact that Kerry will contest no matter if Bush wins, I am getting stressed out. Each poll is like a roller coaster. What are you guys doing when you need to take break from this madnesss?

Hey, that's what I do, too! HGTV is on in my house after about 10AM, unless President Bush has a speech. I check the news to see what's happening, and then switch to HGTV. I also like the late afternoon TLC shows "While You Were Out" and "Clean Sweep."
They do not bother me with political opinions, and I get some swell ideas. Plus the "Clean Sweep" and "Mission Organization" inspire me to get busy decluttering the house.
I have absolute proof that this is the best thing to do. I take my blood pressure every day and it has dropped 20 points since I started ignoring the pundits and the democrats. Wait till I tell my doctor! HA!

I don't I'll be able to take a break. I don't drink alcoholic beverages, I don't smoke, though I do cuss on occasion.
My nerves will be shot all the way up to the election and possibly afterwards if Kerry pulls a "Gore" and tries to steal the election.

"Yes, I let them rant at dinners, then I lay the smack down."
LOL. Yes, it's even better when they're drinking...hehehe. I've been using this as an opportunity to a)educate about the long, destructive, abysmal history of Communism and tyrants and b)find out if they are one.
Two kinds, primarily, of people voting for sKerry/rEdwards: Communists and their Ignorant Hedonist Petty Self-Centered Irresponsible Government is god Comrades...

PRAYING! And hanging out here - I can always find a good belly laugh on any thread that starts out, "Caption Kerry..."
Last night I carved a "W" pumpkin. It is glowing the front window for all the cut-through traffic to see. I've never been so worked up over an election. I remember in 2000, during the dispute, thinking, WTF? What is going on here? On 9/11, I knew.

YES! And he gets to spend lots of time studying Torah. :-)

Common Tator and I have been very active in the Bush/Cheney re-election campaign. We have a "72 hour push" coming up this weekend here in Ross County, Ohio doing phone banks and door to doors.
I talked to my daughter earlier, and she said she might come down from C-Bus this weekend to volunteer again. I said, "honey, I am getting so tired and stressed over this election". She reminded me that this is when our president needs us the most. I talked to CT, and he reinforced her thoughts. WE ALL NEED TO STAY MOTIVATED!
So, I will be easing my election stress this weekend by working for our President! I suggest others do the same.

If you want to hear God laugh, tell him YOUR plan.
In case ANY of you may have forgotten, remember what happened in 2000, GW survived ALL odds and if you asked him how, he would credit a higher authority. His job is not done yet.

People on this site often talk about moving to another state, but if Kerry takes over the entire US, does anyone have any recommendations about other countries to move to? Canada and England would be no good, but what about Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, Switzerland or Austria? Are any of these places more conservative or libertarian?
To: conservativeinferno
I'm glad I'm not the only one whose nerves are on edge. I have been (almost) k***ing mad today, after hearing how Kerry plans to tie up the election in the courts.
This man is truly the enemy of the United States, and must be stopped. By legal means, of course, i.e. a *legitimate* election.

When it gets bad, I turn off the tv/radio/computer. Then I pray very hard - usually a Rosary or lots of prayers to St. Michael. It really does the trick for me.
