Rush just played back Kerry's words saying that it was great to die under the UN Flag and bad to die under the American Flag.

If China invaded Taiwan, we couldn't take action against China because China would veto any UN action against them. Therefore, any loss of American lives would be unjustifiable.
If Israel was invaded for the purpose of removing the Jews, we couldn't act to defend Israel because we would be the only nation willing to defend the "occupier/oppressor" against the invaders. Therefore, any loss of American lives would be unjustifiable. The population of Israel would be wiped out or relocated to America
A Kerry Presidency would be a window of opportunity for those who normally fear US reprisals to invade without fear of American military intervention...they would not neglect this window of opportunity.
The term "Liberal" is a mischaracterization when applied to Kerry. He is a LEFTIST, plain and simple.

This Kerry comment highlights a truth about the Left that is seldom noted. They genuinely do not want the United States to exist as a sovereign nation. They want us subjugated to the pseudo-world government bureaucracy they've been incrementally building at the UN and in continental Europe for much of the past 100 years.
In his heart of hearts, John Kerry truly is anti-American, as are virtually all home-grown and international Leftists.
It's no different that what Kerry said in the '70's and what he's saying on the campaign trail right now. It's just that now he's using more cowardly wording so that, in a pinch, he can say he's not really saying what he's been saying all along.
Along with being a U.N. suck up, I would ask Lurch who screams that fighting terrorism abroad only causes more terrorism what then is our reason for fighting terrorism at home if after all it causes more terrorism? Maybe Lurch thinks the best thing to do is surrender and throw ourselves on the mercy of the U.N. and a world tribunal to face trial for our crimes against humanity.
