I went to med school with Tom at OUHSC. He was in my module during the first two years (the lab/lecture years), so I got to know him much better than I did the students who were not in our section. He was older than most of us by about ten years, and far more conservative at that point in time than I was, as a recent graduate of UC--Santa Cruz, transplanted back to Oklahoma. Tom was the real deal. He was scrupulously honest, said what he thought, and was also a tremendously compassionate person. He was the best advertisement for conservatism I had seen at that point in my life.

I since have moved to Arkansas and practice at Sparks Hopsital. Tom is not an ob-gyn, but completed a family practice residency at AHEC in Fort Smith at Sparks. He is well-remembered by the faculty here. He is one of the few FPs who still delivers babies; this has almost been eliminated by the trial lawyers.

I have not always agreed with Tom's positions, but know that he is a truly good man of the highest integrity. As I have aged, I have grown increasingly conservative, and now find myself agreeing with him on nearly all key positions. Since I live in AR I will be voting in AR. Nevertheless, I am proud to support his campaign.

I'm a physician in AR in Clarksville. We have 8 FP doctors and in my clicin we still all do OB. As does another clinic in town with 4 FP's. 4 of the physicians in my clinic trained at AHEC in Ft. Smith.
