Reading the first paragraph of the article, it's quite apparant that the NY Slimes is indulging in an overt threat to Sinclair over this issue.

The Rag seems to think that those who don't kowtow to it's line of political thinking, they will be in deep doo-doo and the Slimes will see to it that it'll happen.

The New York Slimes HAS to be brought down.

MAJOR SHAME on those who still subscribe to it. I cancelled my subscription to the St. Petersburg Slimes 10 years ago and am none the worse for it. In fact, I feel cleaner.

Exactly. There were a couple of threads yesterday about the Dixie Chicks calling for a boycott of Sinclair. The same Chicks who got all boo-hoo about their fans boycotting their music because of their comments.

If Sinclare (or any other media owner) were to broadcast Moore's trash Faherenheit 911 in the time between now and the election - the media would be praising the decision as freedom of speech and FAIR coverage.

But someone boradcasts something that is in any way critical of the left - and it's completely un-called for... Go figure.

I was listening to Rush talking about this. He says there must be something in this Stolen Valor movie that "scares the hell out of the Kerry camp."

I think there is a legitimate story in airing this film. If nothing else, to educate the American voter on what is going on.

I would like to see Fox News air this thing as an expose on what all the flap is about. They are not a public airway, but a cable network. They could even show the BS forgeries as 'equal time'.
