And if this was the New York Post scorning Michael Moore-on, we would hear all of the Rats crying about violations of the 1st amendment freedom of speech...they can give it, but they can't take it!

The fact is that if Kerry wins complete censorship will be instituted.

Does anyone honestly believe that if the blocking of "Stolen Honor" is successfull, the Michael Moores of this world will not be able to block anything and everything from the right?

I'm sure that Smith, and others realize this.

The show goes on.

This proves the old adage, "every knock is a boost." I, for one, had never heard of Sinclair. I now will watch it. Further, I will also respect their willingness to take risks.

Short term, Sinclair may lose some money. Long term, Sinclair gains in public recognition and trust. It also lays the way open to targeting a different audience than they have had in the past.

"It's a public trust. It seems they're abusing it. If it were a news show and they were really trying to do a fair and balanced story on both sides, that would be a different matter. I don't think they are. That's not their intention."

If he wants some balance, just watch "Stolen Honor", then turn on ABCCBSNBCMSNBCCNN, and he'll get all the 'balance' he can stand.

Isn't it amazing how few things have been brought to light by the pro Bush side have had such a HUGE impact on this election but the sheer volume of the bologna from the left hasn't even improved sKerry's image with his followers.....sounds to me like the general electorate have become tone deaf to the lib hate-spew feast.

I might just be imagining this but I seem to recall a phrase the goes........"Chose your battles carefully, it's not about how many battles you win.....just that you win the war."

Sinclair has made it's decision. They're prepared to live with the consequences.

If the lib's can challenge licensing of Sinclair stations. How come we can't challenge the license's of the networks:?

That really worked, didn't it?

The newswire says Sinclair will lose out on about $430,000 in revenue if it decides to forgo advertising altogether and pre-empt the entire 90-minute slot with the program

The Swift Boat Vets 527 could make a nice dent in this with their war chest. And steal another headline as well.

Let's see...Rush Limbaugh's on over 600 radio stations and Air America is on a little over 30 stations. If I were Sinclair's advertisers, I'd learn a lesson from that.

At first I was upset that Sinclair announced their "Stolen Honor" intentions so early, giving the left time to mobilize and protest. But now, I am glad they did, because the controversy will create a larger viewing audience.

I can't remember the Sinclair CEO's name who I keep seeing on TV, but I get the impression that his company could lose a few million and he would still go ahead with this airing. What a strong, decent man he is.

Don't forget to circulate the scheduled airings list for "Stolen Honor" to your email lists...

I think Rush Limbaugh, Michael reagan, and other big name conservatives should buy big ad spots on the Sinclair stations. This would not only make up for lost revenues, but also help advance conservative messages in these lefty areas.
