"It was meant constructively in terms of their love and affection for a person who is who she is," Kerry said in an interview taped for broadcast Friday night on CNN's "Paula Zahn Now." "And it was entirely as an example of how people come together around these choices, entirely constructively and respectfully."

Good to see you L.J.
But you have to make an exception for Michael Jackson in the above statement.
Shalom.
Because people prefer to think of it as a fact, when they bother to think of it at all.
Most Americans whish the whole homosexual thingy would just go away. A few radicals keep the issue in the forefront. When this happens most Americans respond with one of the following:
Whatever - just go away and leave me alone.
You seem nice. Why can't you just do what you want?
No big deal as long as I can watch.
EEEEWWWWWWW! What kind of pervert would want to do that?
Actually thinking the issue through seems to be well beyond the interest or the intellectual capacity of the American Homo Sapiens.
Shalom.
BINGO....We have a winner !
Exactly, as most people choose not to think about it," just leave me alone", the children of America are being introduced to this as a genetic fact.
I do remember Paula Zahn during the report of the Oklahoma City bombing, when she was working for CBS that she smiled when the bodies were carried out of the building
What I think is funny is that some people write my local paper and say that Flip-Flopping is a good thing, because it shows that he is open to new ideas and not just stuck with the same one. I don't think these people understand flip-flopping. People can change their minds, but to change one's mind every other week depending on who he is talking to.
Unfortunately, they are being introduced to homosexuality as a practical experience.
But if you try to stand up against it you are homophobic.
Shalom.
Interesting choice of words...
Kerry has a *plan* for this, too...

What to hear something worse?
I was emailing my liberal cousin on this subject... his response: "Core beliefs are for the fringe elements."
I can't even answer a statement that stupid.
what="want"... I just want an edit button.
If he meant it in a loving way, and she was hurt, why doesn't he apologize for it?
I think your question answers itself.
Nuanced Kerry is a rainbow boy; he changes position depending on whether he's addressing a blue state, or a red state, or purple state, or any-other-color state.
Isn't it amazing how bad he is at pandering? At least Clinton *earned* his name of Slick Willy. With Clinton, I could *at least* see how some people were fooled by him... But Kerry!??! You'd have to be dumb as a brick to think this guy is an honest man.
I can't take any credit for the research! It's all Scripter's doing.
I've read a lot of what he's collected, and done my own study of the subject for about 15 years. From everything I've read, it looks as though some - SOME - people - may have a propensity for sexual deviancy (of various sorts), but a great number of people who "turn out" homosexuals were molested, raped, or seduced as children or young adolescents. Kids who are sexualized at a young age almost always have serious sexual and other dysfunction.
And currently, becuase there is so much influence in media and school, many kids are convinced that they are "gay" because they've had one "gay" thought or experience. To tell them that they are now carved-in-stone "gay" is to condemn them to a dangerous, lonely life that is in reality based on behavioral choice. Of course, same sex attraction - being attracted to members of the same sex - may not be a conscious choice for some (although for some it admittedly is), but to act on it is a choice. Just as someone else may have strong attraction to a person other than their legitimate spouse, but they can ignore that attraction, reason with it, avoid the person they are attracted to and get over it, or give in to the desire and commit adultery.
Civilized human life really means learning which desires are appropriate and beneficial, which aren't, and controlling those that aren't. If people act out everything that comes into the mind, we'd be all be worse than animals.
And there are so many ex-homosexuals, there is also the choice of change.
The exception proves the rule!
MJackson is proof there are ex-humans.
"Core beliefs are for the fringe elements."
!!!!!!!!!!!
Except for the core belief that they are right (whatever it is) and that conservatives are evil, primitive, criminal knuckledraggers.
"Ammericans are colloquial small minded people in general. They don't have an understanding of the world because they have this superiority attitude that America can do no wrong."
So, you see what I'm dealing with over here.
All my relatives are Uberliberals. So much so that most of them haven't talked to me or even emailed me in a year.
