COLUMBUS, Ohio (Reuters) - If re-elected, President Bush (news - web sites) plans a "big January surprise" and will move quickly to allow some private Social Security (news - web sites) accounts that will reduce benefits for retirees and swell the U.S. deficit, Democratic Sen. John Kerry (news - web sites) said on Sunday.

The Kerry campaign is getting more shrill by the minute, as President Bush's numbers continue to soar.
First it was John Edwards with his "disabled people will be able to get up and walk if Kerry is elected" nonsense.
Then it was Kerry with his "George Bush is the one causing people not to have flu shots"
Now it is "Bush has a nasty January surprise on Social Security for everybody"
Come , come John, aren't you getting a bit too obvious and transparent?
Time after time John Kerry keeps assuming that American voters are simple unsophisticated folks, who are easily fooled and led by cheap two-bit lies, just like his French pals do.
And time after time John Kerry has been flummoxed by how really smart , imperturbable and solidly robust and eminently sensible the American voter is proving to be.
Expert Hanoi John Kerry to go into a state of shock and denial come November 2, and become another Al Gore, full of bitterness and hate, and spending the rest of his life making hate speeches against Republican sitting presidents, and getting stopped for speeding on some remote road in Oregon like Al Gore just did.

Fear Tactics is more than a badly rated sci-fi channel show, it's a Democrat campaign.

This must be a Dem talking point for the week. I heard the same crap on the morning news shows. If this is supposed to make me not vote for Bush it's not working. I think it's a great idea. Is this all the Dems have for an Oct surprise they really are scrapping the bottom of the barrel

If Kerry's elected, he's going to save Social Security by investing the SS trust fund in a "lock box" owned by some financial whiz from Nigeria named Igwebalarabalami Obayemjansiadamagambosabe -- whose family will promise us each a cash payment of $10 million if we would simply provide him with our bank account information.
Spread the news -- riches for everyone!!

The draft threat isn't gaining much traction, so they're going back to the tried-and-true.

Gota wonder who sounds desperate right now with all these 'secret plans', 'secret deals' (w saudis for cheap oil..anyone see cheap oil?), 'draft', 'January suprise', 'secret plan to call up the Guard' after the election. In the noise of the campaign and all the 'news' that keeps coming our way, we seem to forget all these 'charges' kerry keeps making.

We know these are DESPERATE LIES. The Dems pull this all the time.
The SAD fact is they tend to work. Some seniors are 'really' afraid of losing their Social Security.
I hate to see Bush go on the defensive at this stage, but he has to come out hitting hard on this.

Kerry just lost the 18-39 vote, all of whom want their own retirement accounts.

"I think there is gonna be a November surprise for Kerry!"
I wouldn't call it a surprise. Kerry knows full well what's coming, or he would not be uttering these malicious mendacities.

Bush doesn't need to go on the defensive about this -- he needs to follow my suggestion and claim that Kerry has a secret plan to "invest" all of the Social Security money in a Nigerian bank scam.
When your opponent gets ridiculous, the best way to hit back is to make him look even more ridiculous.

LOL. Thanks.
If you really want a good laugh, you should see what that Nigerian name looked like before I shrank it down to fit on one line!

I AM SICK AND TIRED OF jOHN kERRY GOING INTO THESE BLACK CHURCHES TO CAMPAIGN. HE DID IT AGAIN TODAY. WHY IS HE GETTING AWAY WITH THIS??????
Because no black church will ever get in trouble with the IRS. The Dems won't do it because they supported the Dem, and the Republican won't do it, because someone might call them a racist. So, basically, they can do whatever the heck they want. This is what we get when we have corrupt Democrats and gutless Republicans.

Here's a comback for to use: how can John Kerry guess what the President will do in the future, when he can't tell the truth about his own past?
To: All
My son, who is 26, was going to vote for Kerry based on Farenheit 9/11! Well, we had a little, no make it a looooong talk about Kerry vs. Bush. The ONLY thing that I could convince him was better about Bush was the "ownership" society plan - regarding Social Security and health care. He has always been interested in stock market and thinks he could study and get more of a return on SS funds than govt.
Just saw a blurb on CNN showing Sinclair's stock going down since their announcement to show "Stolen Honor" - any investors out there who would like to help them? I think I am going to buy some shares tomorrow.

The problem with using Social Security to scare older people is that it works.
Something happens when a senior citizen turns 67. They instantly return to a child like state where they believe anything a democratic ad tells them. "They'll starve you." "They'll kick you out on the street." "They'll take away your hard earned money that was in your social security lock box and give it to the rich fat cats."
So with hands shaking and wet depends they toddle on down to the both and pull the straight "D" ticket.

Do some research on a Freeper named Lowbridge -- for a while he had a website where he was posting excerpts from a long-running joke he was playing on one of those scammers.
He even got one of them to send a picture of herself holding a sign that said "Freepers Rule" or something like that.
