Jim White, U.S. Marine and Vietnam veteran, needs our prayers. He has cancer and his prognosis is awful.
Jim is about sixty and he's one of the best people I've ever met. I never saw him that he wasn't smiling.
Jim is married and has four children, several grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Several months ago he found out that he had cancer in his esophagus. His doctors told him that surgery would take care of it and that his chances of recovery following surgery would be excellent.
However, Jim's insurance company argued with his family and doctors over details for five weeks. At the end of those critical five weeks, it was discovered that the cancer had spread so severely that surgery was no longer a safe option.
Treatments since that time have not been able to defeat the widespread cancer. He is now extremely weak and due to the cancer in his brain he is now blind.
Jim White was a huge bear of a man and today he weighs less than a hundred pounds.
Ohhhh
I'm so sorry to hear this. God bless this man and his loved ones!
Our prayers and best wishes are with him and his family!
Semper Fi!
Prayers for Jim and the benefit.
A sad story about a brave Marine. I will pray for him and his family.

Prayers for your friend and his family.
Prayers
Merciful Father, we thank You for the length of days that enables Jim and his wife to reflect on three generations of their love. Family and friends know of the many things that he has said and done that blesses their hearts ... we know he is greatly loved, because pax has told us so. We know Jim has served his country as a Marine, because pax has told us so. That makes us, his countrymen, forever in his debt, for we breathe free this day because of Jim. Our words are only a hollow echo of the most beautiful yet to spoken by the Master ~ "Well done, thou good and faithful servant."
May the Beauty and Comfort of Your Presence surround this American family throughout their journey upon this earth. In the Name of Jesus, I pray, Amen ...
Please notify me via FReepmail if you would like to be added to or taken off the Prayer Ping List.
Please post your prayers to pax_et_bonum;
May the Lord sustain Jim and may his family be strengthened by the knowledge that the Lord is with them in their sufferings.
In His Name,
Amen
I pray for Jim and will continue to do so.
Thank you so much for your prayers.
Prayer ping for a U.S. Marine.
Lord,
you give us the crosses we are to bear,
and call us at last home,
and sometimes,
how much we would rather be elsewhere, anywhere,
but where you have placed us.
Lord, give us the strength
to put our faith in you,
to put our trust in you,
to put our hands in yours,
to feel your arms around us even in our darkest moments
and to know that you too
knew what it was like to bear
grief and pain,
agony and sorrow,
rejection and misery,
seeing your loved ones aching
for their inability to stop what was happening,
and in your knowing,
you are always there to comfort us,
aid us,
and walk with us
down that last frightening walk
until you take us home in glory.
Amen

I am praying for Jim and all his family.
Offering my prayers
