Chechen terrorists probed
By Bill Gertz
THE WASHINGTON TIMES
U.S. security officials are investigating a recent intelligence report that a group of 25 Chechen terrorists illegally entered the United States from Mexico in July.
The Chechen group is suspected of having links to Islamist terrorists seeking to separate the southern enclave of Chechnya from Russia, according to officials familiar with intelligence reports.
Members of the group, said to be wearing backpacks, secretly traveled to northern Mexico and crossed into a mountainous part of Arizona that is difficult for U.S. border security agents to monitor, said officials speaking on the condition of anonymity.
The intelligence report was supplied to the U.S. government in late August or early September and was based on information from an intelligence source that has been proved reliable in other instances, one official said.
A second U.S. official said the report is being investigated, but said it could not be determined whether the group of Chechens actually entered the country, as the intelligence source reported.
"We don't know whether or not that report is true," this official said. A spokesman for U.S. Customs and Border Protection confirmed ...
AQ has fighters that have fought in the Balkans, Chechnya an Afghanistan...TWICE!
Makes you wonder, does it not?
I challenge you to go down to the border for yourself...then report back.
WAKE UP SHEEPLE BTTT

Exactly...
Be Ever Vigilant ~ Bump!
"...We would have ended up with even MORE of the hispanic vote than we will anyway, because many of the hispanics currently in America, who have been here for a while, are troubled by illegal immigration..."
Yes !!! There is little prejudice in Alabama against Chinese because the Chinese aren't swamping us. Oh sure there are some Chinese here but not swarms. Whereas Latins in Montgomery know that if another 20 thousand Mexcians with another thousand or two Guatemalans and Salvadorans arrive, the resentment of Latins will increase in such a place as Montgomery County. Latins are great but there are limits to what percentage of the population we want them to be. When English is becoming the second language in Alabama then the real resentment starts.
As per terrorism, immigration, and security, I offered the following suggested program on the earlier thread...
1.Drastically fewer student visas (and thus less Islamic militant cheering sections in places like Tuscaloosa, Alabama and other college towns.)
2. A much better patrolled Mexican border.
3. A beefed up Canadian border.
4. Improved and expanded inspections of incoming ships and watercraft.
5. No more UN refugee agreements where we take large number of immigrants at one time (as in the case of the 15,000 Somalians).

Too bad the rest of the headline didn't read "with a red hot poker."
"......I thought after 9/11 we would shut down the border - Bush would be 60% in the polls now."
Exactly.
" Hopefully, this won't give fuel to Kerry, because you know that dumbass is playing both sides of the fence"
According to his remarks in the debate last night, it's too late. He will use this against Bush.
There was (15 years ago anyway) a large group of Russian Immigrants near Portland, Or.
"You hang around the US for 4 months waiting to do something? That doesn't make any sense"
Some of the 9/11 hijackers were here for years.
Did you all hear Bill Gertz, the man who wrote the orginal article on "The Savage Nation" last night? You'd think that the President would listen by now to the vast amount of Conservatives who are real disenfranchised in America, not blacks or Liberals, who have cried to close down our borders and keep illegal immigrants out. That's what I like about Michael Savage. He is a conservative unafraid to say it like it is.
