I also wish that President Bush would make a strong point of remarking upon Kerry's 20 year voting record against weapons systems, his vote every single time to freeze our nuclear program, and his vote against the Gulf War.

The flat God's honest truth here is that Kerry is a shameless self-promoter. Americans hate that. Bush is an honest man who worked his way up to the presidency cleanly, whatever his family connections. Cheney is a mastermind and a true conservative, unafraid to face down the minorities in our great nation. The public will see this and Bush will win. Period. No more discussion, please, LLL!

Good news as long as voters for Bush don't get complacent on election day and decide he's already won so they don't have to go vote. No matter what the polls say you have to go vote on election day.

Did anyone here Dick Morris' comments about John Kerry last week on Hannity & Colmes? He said that Kerry had never visited the Clinton Whitehouse and was considered a total lightweight in Congress. He went on to say that Kerry was the one who always wanted to go home early for dinner when the Senate was in session and Kennedy would send him to negotiate early adjourments, etc.

Alan was not happy to hear this.

I agree with you about the prayer. We need to start praying now for the next debate.

The massive voter registrations in Ohio and Florida throw a monkey wrench into all of this. All of those people are probably Kerry voters rounded up by groups like Moveon.org. Since they were not registered voters and would not be counted as likely voters, they may not be showing up on any poll. Many of the new voters are probably people that were scared into voting against Bush by the false draft story.

You couldn't keep me from voting on election day with an Uzi, Ann Coulter, and a bottle of tequila. There's a war going on and brave men are fighting and dying to keep me and my family safe. You bet your ass I'm going to show up at the polling place to vote for President Bush.

That's great. The picture of the women in church with the Kerry signs should be on the front page of every newspaper tomorrow morning.

Not all of them, I have reason to believe the evangelical community in Ohio is very motivated and have registered just about everyone in their community.

The election is all about turnout now.

Which is one reason that the polls are just a hair above meaningless. The polling groups have a wide variety of models to project turnout, and plenty of evidence that this election won't abide by any of the proven models.

Take, for example, the fact that many polls which query both likely and registered voters have shown that Bush has more favor among registed voters than among the likely voter sub-group. I don't believe I had ever seen registered voters lean more Republican than likely voters - ever! Does this mean that there is a large pool of people that have never voted before intending to vote for Bush? Does it mean that there are a lot of weak bush supporters that probably won't vote?

We won't know what it means until after the election.
