MIAMI -- With just three Sundays left before Election Day, Sen. John Kerry is asking for all the help he can get from black voters and the Almighty.
The Democratic presidential nominee attended two church services Sunday, instead of his usual one, worshipping first with Haitian Catholics and then with black Baptists, where the Rev. Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton tied his election to the civil rights struggle.
"We have an unfinished march in this nation," Kerry said at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, as many congregants waved fans handed out by the campaign with his slogan, "Hope is on the way."
"Never again will a million African Americans be denied the right to exercise their vote in the United States of America," Kerry promised, referring to the disputed Florida recount in the 2000 presidential race. As he often does before black audiences, Kerry said he has a legal team that will aggressively respond to any allegations of disenfranchisement.

the rich white people want to steal your vote .....hahahahaaaa!
If you want on (or off) of my black conservative ping list, please let me know via FREEPmail. (And no, you don't have to be black to be on the list!)
Extra warning: this is a high-volume ping list.
Again the magical wink-wink, nudge-nudge democratic black-church exemption. Dem politicians climbing into a black pulpit and socking it to 'em like Elmer Gantry has become so blatant and unpunished over the years that the lib media mentions such things without a shade of embarassment. However, if only a single republican candidate or conservative news source dared to raise a big stink about it, perhaps either it, or that "wall of seperation" would simply vanish overnight.
One of Bush's best speeches of the campaign has got to be the one at the Urban League where he boldly demanded that blacks consider leaving the democratic party to vote GOP.
Many were concerned that Bush would be booed there based on his recent dis of the NAACP.
He was received very, very well. I think he would be similarly received at a black church with a pastor that supports him, and there are many.
Though its despicable and disgraceful, you have to hand it to the Left for their creative use of language; their expansion of the definition of certain words.
'Civil Rights', for example, no longer means equal protection before the law, but now it means the right to have racial preferences granted to non-white groups.
I cringe everytime I hear a Leftwing assault on Bush's "war on civil rights" and the UofMichigan case is used as proof. I cringe for two reasons; (1) Bush actually betrayed conservatives in that case by embracing the absurd concept that achieving diversity is a compelling state intereste, and (2) The GOP talking heads never respond by pointing out exactly what the left is saying; that now racial preferences is a civil right!
So did the JFKerry go limp and fall to the floor in one giant heap????
And just how despicable are you, nodems? Walked on water lately?
I don't think Kerry cares warm spit for either.
"Well to be fair, polls show that most blacks do oppose gay marriage. "
Yep. And the prime mover/shaker of the backlash of black Christian is a Rev. Ken Hutcherson (sp?)
who has appeared a couple of times on Focus on The Family for the "May Day For Marriage"
march in Washington, D.C. on October 15.

I seem to remember the ACLU filing a complaint against a Missouri church for having a picture of George Bush in it. Do you suppose they will also file suit against the church and those who made it a political Sunday? I know, I know, ROFLMAO at the possiblity.
What a POS. Today he told a church audience that there are too many people who do not act upon their faith, but Friday night he tried to rationalze why he shouldn't when asked about public funding of abortion.
Having been in many different churches in many different parts of the nation...it's possible he's having demons LET IN??!!

For a moment, JFK had release.
Most of his demons found a home in this body . .
Lantern Face is a bogus Christian who is trying to use God for his own purposes. This is blasphemy. But God will use or abuse Kerry for His purpose I assure you.
I expect to hear political ads like the one that ran in late October 2000 in the St. Louis area: "A vote for a Republican is a vote for another black church burning. A vote for a Republican is a vote for another dead black child." Unbelievably vile lies!
"The enemy is Liberalism, not blacks."
..............Exactly!!!
These congregations, were there one combined brain in either of them, would feel dirty, used and would rise up in the temple and throw this Communist out on his ear...John sKerry is a poster boy for filthy elitist Communist DemocRATs...alas, sitting in church pretending.
Considering his grand plan to deceive Catholic and other pro-life voters, he might not want to count on lots of help from the Almighty.
