We now know of at least one undecided voter who decided to vote for Bush after the debate.
Robin Dahle, who asked President Bush the first question yesterday, was just on NPR's Weekend America. Dahle is on about 3:40 into the audio (courtesy of KUOW.)
Dahle said that, before the debate, there was a 40 percent chance he'd vote for President Bush. He's now 80-90 percent sure of his vote, although not 100 percent.
The reason he gave was that Bush was more "personable." He also said that Kerry blundered when he said that only 3 people in the room made $200,000/year. He said that Kerry had made that assumption based on the appearance of the audience and the location of the debate. Dahle found that condescending.
Undecided voters at this stage are either silly or mendacious.
I don't know of any consistent ideology that would allow someone to be evenly split between the two candidates. My only expansion is that these "undecided voters" are really just "apathetic Americans" who don't value or appreciate their responsibility as citizens in our republic. My hope is that they will voluntarally take themselves out of the "voter gene-pool" by staying home on election day.
LOL. Early today I did a search to see if he made it back on. Nada. But when he does make it back, he will have weighed all the factors, and while it was close, his vote goes to .......Kerry!
"Dahle said that, before the debate, there was a 40 percent chance he'd vote for President Bush. He's now 80-90 percent sure of his vote, although not 100 percent."
For some folks, there's just no hope......
Good one, I love being a freeper for this. Someone should take this audio link to the DUnderground.
Makes me sick, damn I hope voters are paying attention.
LOL, I think the only undecideds left in this election are the people who are undecided if they're going to vote. ;-)

I would find it condescending also to be labled that way by Kerry. What about people who aspire to reach that level. Kerry was economically profiling that crowd.
(Question to moderator - is it OK to refer to Kerry as a PRICK, or is it just understood?)
There is no such thing as an undecided voter. There are only (A) people who don't believe in much of anything and (B) liberals who are afraid to admit it in public.
I see many high places from which he could leap. He may need to be watched for a while after he loses, in case he attempts something rash.
"For the life of me, I cannot see how one can be 'undecided'."
Wish I could say the same. I'm a Vietnam veteran. No way in hell could I vote for Kerry.
When people tell me how Kerry was a decorated war hero, I smile politely and answer back, "Yeah, and so was Benedict Arnold."
But, for many others, Kerry's treacherous deceit is a mere historical curiosity, as sad as that may sound. If they are not Bush Haters, the "undecided" probably have genuine conflicts over the issues important to them.
I was just reading about Tah Raise duh and her income tax payments, and if the Kerry's are so cool, hows come they don't pony up a few bucks extra in their taxes?
I wouldn't expect a lot of Americans to pay more than their fair share, but come on, they're rolling in it, and pay only whats required?
You'd think politicians in general would have some unwritten rule to throw in a few bucks extra, hell just round it up.
Jerks.
"80% of the people in the room would like to make $200,000"
... and Kerry seems to think they should be punished with higher taxes for it.
I'm glad there is someone else out there ready to pounce. I check npr.org every day just in case.
I know the ombudsman and the local programming guy are also on toes just waiting to hear from me!
I can't believe there are so many idiots out there who would even consider voting for a candidate like Kerry during these dangerous times. I really don't believe the race is this close at all. I think at the end of the day we're going to find that these daily, selective polling samples had it all wrong. I think W is going to win this by a large margin. Al Gore won NJ by 18 points in 2000. It's a tie here now. With a tie in NJ and W moving up in PA, in reality I think the President must up by at least 7.
Hey you! HIYA!
For all of his good performances in the debates, Kerry seems to lay one big egg at each one -- global test, I can tell what you make -- for a guy who does so well, he does very poorly.
