Kerry's answer to BUSH's enviroment-statement..:
"KERRY: Boy, to listen to that -- the president, I don't think, is living in a world of reality with respect to the environment.
Now, if you're a Red Sox fan, that's OK. But if you're a president, it's not."

At this rate, he won't even win Massachusetts.
Kerry talking sports is like Drew Barrymore talking biochemistry.
I caught that too. Couldn't really figure out what he was trying to say by it.
Seriously... what the hell did he mean by that comment?
I am a Red Sox fan and didn't know what the hell he was talking about. So don't worry about it.
Check his website 'johnkerry.com'. Maybe it explains what he meant there right under his secret and very good plan for everything under the sun.
I think you missed a couple.
get this one out .... that is a whole state he just lost....... WOW.......
I think he was saying that the Red Sox's and the President both need a reality check
I could be wrong .. but it sounded like an insult to me
Kerry's just hoping that the Red Sox can repeat as Super Bowl champs. Why they ever traded Babe Ruth to the NY Rangers is a mystery to John...
Thanks....!!!!
I COULD NOT BELIEVE IT - I couldn't figure out what the hay he meant by it. Are Sox fans living in an alternate reality? Are Sox fans destroyers of the environment? Do Sox fans leave underfunded children behind?
Either way, I'd love to see Kerry lose Mass., but I don't expect it. Perhaps I'm just in denial like a Sox fan...
I think he just bumbled a planned bit of humor about ignoring reality. For a RedSox fan, they think every year is the year. Similarly, the President, according to Kerry, is ignoring the reality. Mostly, it shows his ineptitude in trying to be personable with humor.
The media carefully picks apart every statement, expression, and gaff by Bush, but you never hear the same scrutiny about Kerry. He was 'strong' and 'agressive', but Bush was either 'on the defensive' or 'over agressive'. Bush is called on every overstatement and mis-statement, but Kerry's entire campaign is based on overstatement and lies about the Bush administration.
I don't think the Red Sox will claim him as their candidate.
Kerry is afraid of baseball. And football. And basketball. And probably hockey, but I haven't seen a picture of that one yet. :)
Much worse than that he insulted the entire audience when he said. "Looking around this room it looks like the only ones affected by a tax on income over 200 thousand is you, me and Charlie." He may as well have said looking around this room of losers...... LOL
Weird statement -- I wondered about it when it came out of his mouth.
