Let's post some of Kerry's big flubs during the debate. Did anybody else notice him saying OG-BYN. When he was talking about his fictional tort reform plan.
I wanted Bush to answer bak "Oh Gee, I have to go to the BYN!!
A mistatment like this is obvously a sign of a low IQ in a Republican and basic human nature in a Democrat. I mean it is not like they asked him how to spell potato.
My second favorite flub was when he couldn't come up with the word for a spinal cord injury or paralisis when talking about stem cell research.
Please post you favorite Kerry flub.
I was counting misspeaks and stutters:
Kerry won, 14-12
Kerry said he never changed his position on Iraq. Wonder what he meant when he said was AGAINST the war in Iraq?
what is yellowcake for? We need smart bombs.
Yes, but was your beber stuned too?
Plan -- used it 31 times according to another poster.
BTW, can you tell me what is your plan, Mr. Kerry?
Kerry referred to the supposedly 'non-partisan' factcheck.org back on the 23rd.
President Bush himself would have qualified as a "small business owner" under the Republican definition, based on his 2001 federal income tax returns. He reported $84 of business income from his part ownership of a timber-growing enterprise. However, 99.99% of Bush's total income came from other sources that year. (Bush also qualified as a "small business owner" in 2000 based on $314 of "business income," but not in 2002 and 2003 when he reported his timber income as "royalties" on a different tax schedule.)These Annenberg guys were trying to make a point in support of Kerry, and Kerry naturally borrowed that, tonight.
I want to say that I disagree with pointing out 'gaffe's, unless they seem revealing. People get ahead of themselves. It happens. Bush misspeaks. We all do. The Treblinka gaffe MIGHT be important, from the first debate, if it suggests Kerry is steeped in the Bush-hating that equates George Bush with Hitler, simply because they disagree with Bush on the 'moral issues', and Iraq.
Oh, yes, my beeber was definitely stuned. I'm tellin' you, it was really series!
Yellowcake is powdered Uranium. You use it to make nucular bombs.
We found and removed 500 tons of the stuff from Iraq.
Sure! Abortion is the cure for everything! You can't have any problems if you're not alive!!
Seriously though, I'm glad I wasn't the only one to hear that pearl of wisdom.
"He used the word "plan" 31 times during the debate."
Boy, there must have been a lot of drunk people on FP then! The drinking game rules were to take a shot every time you heard the word "plan" ;)
The whole 1993 or and five or eight years later comment was terrible. As if none of the other terrorist attacks between 1993 and 2001 mattered. They sure as hell mattered to those who lost their lives and their families. His implication that none of the actions taken by the US had any effect to me is the most remarkably bad statement that he could have made.
Will W. make us of it?
I want everyone here to look into your heart. Look into your guts. Gut check time!
All I got from Kerry on cultural issues was he very much respects the opinions of the heartland Americans whose cultural mores and values he wants to destroy.
And he bizarrely thinks that its not liberal to have a "right to abortion" litmus test.
Something like that.
dee-er
Can't stand that Bostonian accent
lol
I am really looking forward to next Wednesday's debate. Kerry has spent his load..he has nothing left but the same old tired lines.
On the other hand, W is just scratching the surface with all he has to work with.
FAvorite flub had to be when he was telling us how religious he is and how important his CAtholic faith was to him in Viet Nam guess that's what helped him when he was committing all those war crimes huh?
