He never even answered the woman's question.

What her question was was basically, how could she be certian that her tax dollars weren't going to fund abortion, which she was against.

Kerry's "answer" didn't fit that question.

It was a much bigger deal than he (Kerry) realized, I think. For pro-life people, that is a HUGE deal, perhaps a deal breaker. The President took the question very seriously. I think that scored him a lot of points, along with the stem-cell question (which I loved how it was asked, BTW)

I hate it every time Kerry says he's a Catholic because I'm a Catholic and I know that his answer is sacrilegious to my church. I was screaming, "You ARE NOT a Catholic." He wants it both ways. Another way of flip flopping.
