Watch the crowd reacting to Kerry and Bush!

Posted on 10/08/2004 7:43:05 PM PDT by Ron/GA

Few people are approaching Kerry and everyone is crowding around Bush. Looks like a political statement to me!

I'll take any opportunity to post a Dubya picture. ;) I have to watch tonight's debate again just to see him walk all over kerry. He had sauce in his stride tonight.

He sure did light up the room! If winning the debate is based on how the audience reacted, it is President Bush hands down. He got laughs out of the audience three or four times. sKerry tried and "flopped" miserably.

The other thing I noticed was that one of the smiling people huddled around the President after the debate was the man who asked the question about the environment. While the Pres was answering the question, I told my husband that the man did not look convinced about the answer. And yet there he was rubbing elbows with Bush - NOT KERRY - after the debate.

"Kerry must have lost big if Hillary's out tonight."

Stick a fork in him....Kerry's finished!

You must remember that Bush has one more debate, and you DO NOT use all your ammo when you face another battle. Look how redundent lurch was when he restated (tonight) his "talking point attacks" from the last debate! Bush needed to keep some of his powder dry.

Yes, what was with that goofy Kerry grin? Didnt he look like Stan Laurel sometimes??

Sorry...I only listened to part of it on the radio.

Maybe Boy-Genius Kerry heard people saying that "Dubya made faces" during the first debate-
and Kerry decided to "look Presidential".

Heck, his latest defense/WOT policies are just silly "monkey see, monkey do"
of Dubya's work.

All Bush needs to do in the third debate is hammer home this message,it's easy to talk issues, quote people ,numbers and plans. But actions speak much louder than words.Kerry records shows he talks differently than he acts. How can Americans trust this man to lead!

Kerry has "A PLAN"

Wow! If he were only a Vietnam veteran, too, wouldn't that be the whole package...

I recorded the whole thing to one of my HDs. From what I saw was Kerry trying to change the discussion 3 times. And it didn't work. Kerry came up with a distraction and Bush slammed him, and then went back to what Kerry said. Watch again and count!

"Tell me three of your worst mistakes.Come on. . .that was plain wrong and an attack on the president."... I agree, it was an untimely question, but I think Kerry blew it. He piled on about Bush's mistakes. The implication of the question was to talk about your own mistakes. If Kerry had talked about his own mistakes, he would have showed humility, and would have gained votes by showing he was a regular guy. If he had shown courage in taking on the question, he would have gained.

I thought he did extremely well on that one too, though the part of hiring a few bad apples was small compared to how he used the question to explain how he has the balls to make the hard decisions regardless of how popular it made him with the Europeans. He masterfully took that question, a truly snide set up for a fall question, and used it for a launch pad to tell America that, if he is to error he will always error on the side of the American people

Kerry can't touch that. He doesn't even understand it.

BUSH: "He put a trial-lawyer on the ticket!"

Better yet, in response, Kerry said, "Yes, I put a lawyer on the ticket. I'm a lawyer, too." Reminding people that the Dem ticket is TWO lawyers is a gaffe. Lawyers are not popular...
