Watch the crowd reacting to Kerry and Bush!
Posted on 10/08/2004 7:43:05 PM PDT by Ron/GA
Few people are approaching Kerry and everyone is crowding around Bush. Looks like a political statement to me!

You're wrong. Maybe you had to see it to get it, and GW does mangle the English language now and then. But he put Kerry through the shredder early and often. Kerry's daughter hugged him afterwards and looked as if she'd lost her last friend. That says it all. Kerry lost big time.

You caught that too? Bush came across as consistant, strong and a straight shooter.
Noone ever said doing the right thing was easy...but W is gonna do the right thing and not the "popular" thing.
What a MACHO man

The answer about the Supreme Court justices was good, too. And I liked it when he said, "What he said makes me want to smirk!"
To: Lijahsbubbe
The media couldn't even hide that one!
I suspect they didn't even realize they were broadcasting d-mning images
of Kerry.
Otherwise, they (TV network programmers) would have "cut" to
another scene, e.g., interview with one of their anchors or some
trustworthy, unbiased commentator like...

Bush's crowd was trying to get his signature. Kerry's crowd was trying to see what everyone else was doing :-}

Nevertheless, I heard Kerry already gave himself a medal. A medal that he will, no doubt, throw away.

Yes and everyone who listened to the 1960 debate thought Nixon won but everyone who saw it said Kennedy won hands down. The proof is in the pudding.... last shot huge crowd surrounding Bush and Kerry wandering aimlessly looking for someone, anyone to shake hands with. A picture is worth 1000 words. I have two words for you...YOUR WRONG the operative world there is LISTEN. When the debate was watched, Kennedy who looked better, won. Nixon sounded better because he probably had more substance. I'm a big Kennedy fan, but let's face it style over stubstance won that debate;
To: BJungNan
Did you notice how many people got up after the debate and wanted to talk to Bush and how few went over to Kerry? Kerry's people had to come over and stand next to him so he did not look like he was standing there alone.
I saw it! It was very noticeable!

New York Times headline tomorrow: BUSH OWNS LUMBER COMPANY No, it will be: President Bush says, "I own a lumber company" ...just to keep it accurate.
To: Two Dawgs
The moderator was even questioning Kerry's answer with disbelief. "Senator, you know you can't do that!" I couldn't believe it!

Kerry did indeed change the subject on the draft issue. I guess he didn't want to remind potential voters that it was the liberals who were behind the draft issue.
Kerry dodged the draft issue because he knows that if he's elected, he's going to have to reinstate it. 72% of the military supports the president. If Kerry becomes CIC, how many of that 72% are going to re-up? How many new enlistments will there be?
And I guarantee you there will be gays in the military with Kerry in the Oval Office. How's that going to effect morale?
