I agree, it was glaring. Bush knew what he wanted to say, and Kerry couldn't make up his mind. It was a win for Bush in all aspects, I believe...

I have to wait for the transcripts but he said "Liberal" at least 3 times, short of my prediction.
This debate was not about resonating with undecideds, it was about re-invigorating the base. I fully expect overnight polls to say bush lost, but you will see in breakdowns his base thought he won. Last time his base was split between bush winning and it being a tie, while kerry's base was nearly 100% that kerry won. Bush has to rebuild his base first, then go for undecideds in debate 3.

I noticed that even the stiff audience had to chuckle when the President hit it out of the park after he said it was news to him that he owned a lumber company, and then said,UH, YA WANT SOME WOOD??
That was the funniest line in the whole debate!!
