The former Massachusetts governor (who ran against Kerry) said to Don Imus yesterday that when he faced Kerry in a town-hall meeting, he was completely in his element and so he slaughtered him.
Let hope it doesn't happen again tonight.
I have to think positive.

I think part of the problem is how, with an event like this, we're helpless captives. We can't give Bush the right words, we can't mute an obvious political hack "undecided", we can't enforce the rules, we can't control the post-debate "Kerry won" propaganda from the "analysts" and so forth. It's kind of like watching the airplanes fly into the WTC towers. You can't stop them mid-air.

If I were in the bush Campaign I would leak what Bush and Rove are planning to do if they lose.

Bush would raise enough money from investors to do a hostile take over of Viacom.. Once that was accomplished the entire news staff at CBS would be fired. At the same time Karl Rove would raise enough money to do a hostile take over of ABC and fire their entire news staff.

That just might give the ABC and CBS media people something to think about....

Does anyone doubt that George W. Bush could raise enough money to take over both Viacom and Disney? Would those two network staffs bet their jobs he could not?

I just heard Wolf Blitzer say that Kerry had passed Bush in a lot of the battleground states and he had a lead nationally now. I don't believe I can watch all this stuff. I almost get a panic attack. Before this thing is over I am gonna make myself sick. It SERIOUSLY scares me to death. Oh me, of little faith. Pep me up, guys and gals.

Didn't Kerry and Clinton, etc., say those exact same things??????

Yes they did

I have a question .. Kerry keeps saying how he can bring countries together at the UN to stand with us ... Well where was he 2 1/2 years ago and why didn't he try to help then ???

I remember them saying Gore won Florida and I was immediately sceptical, because it was so early. I wanted to see the percent of vote counted. They never announced it, but the bottom of the screen showed 1% counted.

I immediately blew off the announcement.

I prayed before the election that God's will be done. If He wants the US to be punished, I can't think of anything much worse than a Gore or Kerry presidency.

To ALL,

Let's start thinking positively. We need to send all our prayers and good thoughts out there to help the president.

Father, I know You do things in Your own way and in Your own time and I believe everything is for the Greater Glory of God, so if it is Your Will, please help George W. Bush tonight, be present and grant him clarity of mind, firmness of purpose, quickness of wit, and let him feel the Power that upholds him. He trusts You as we all do. Thank you for him and thank You for listening. In Jesus' name, I ask this and your blessing on our President, his administration and all their families. Amen

"Washington College in Mo. is the most liberal in the state...."

Not being a jerk, but it's Washington University. They call themselves the Harvard of the midwest. Sorta true as far as being liberal goes. Main building is Brookings. Guess who started the Brookings Institution? But believe me, they have nothing on the University of Missouri at Columbia.

LOL! It was a creation of mine after I infiltrated a DNC breakfast here last month, and picked up one of those "Anybody But Bush" yard signs. :)

Maybe a name change is in order at this time to "live thread"

That's been suggested, but I think someone has a different plan.
