Let's Roll.
For the VP debate my boyfriend was watching another program on the TV so I decided to go online to watch it. The best streaming video was MSNBC. No blurryness, no stopping and going. Sound and picture were perfect even better than the CSPAN website. I won't have access to the TV again tonight so I am using the MSNBC streaming video again.
What do you want to bet Kerry would scream like a little girl if that happened.
One problem i have seen will result in double posts, you don't always get a response back immediately after you have posted a reply.. and being unsure, you do a submit again....
I'm not sure. I don't get great wireless reception where our TV is, and FR slows down (naturally) as it is. I got to watch a little, last Pres... but I'll try.
Thanks for the invite!
Dan
I didn't write the list...I got it from the link another freeper posted on #98.

arrghhh 5 or 7 second delay
krapatoa, man! I don't how much more they can do to mangle the sport. ;-)
The difference is in 1992 we didn't know that we had a terrorist problem. This election literally comes down to Senator France vs. President Progress.
I'm saying my prayers.
For the first debate and the debate between Cheney and Edwards, Fox was not that good. They said a lot of negative things and even said Edwards won the second half of the debate with Cheney. Fox is better than the rest but not by much. What IS good about Fox is that they discuss stories that the others do not even report on.
Mt family was't into politics at all, so they all thought I was nuts, until Sept. 11th, then they understood what I'd been trying to tell them for years, a President DOES affect your life...So, for the first time in my husband's life (48 years old) my son, 26 both my daughters are all registered and voting for Bush, so I got 4 new voters this year!
Hmmm... maybe I do see something there....
Dan
This morning, I heard the secretary of Commerce - Evans I think his name is, say that the reason the number of jobs are down is because it reflects jobs that are "payroll jobs" - and doesn't include all of the new home based business that have started up.
Since unemployment is way down - that should be the indicator. I hope Bush points this out tonight. If he doesn't - I will be greatly disappointed.
I don't know why he doesn't have someone like Sean Hannity or Rush Limbaugh prep him. He just doesn't seem to have a very good grasp how to counter the ridiculous positions of Kerry - they are so absurd.
I would venture to say that many here on FR could probably counter Kerry better than the president. This doesn't mean of course that he isn't the best person be in charge - I'm just saying debating isn't his strongest point.
I've been drinking since 2 this afternoon! Better get started!
Heya John, What are the odds that the debate thread wont choke the servers tonight?
Heck this out: http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,132970,00.html
One of the people who wanted a slice of the pie was Marc Rich (search), the fugitive financier pardoned by former President Bill Clinton during his last hours in office in 2001.
"He was an experienced, a very experienced, sanctions buster," Conlon said, explaining that because Rich had helped South Africa evade U.N. sanctions during apartheid. Rich later became infamous when he was charged with illegally doing business with Iran.
"If Mark Rich can get on your list of approved companies, there are no standards, then anyone can," Conlon said. "When I told my director about this, he nearly collapsed."
Conlon said he was so concerned, he fired off memos telling the U.N. secretariat that it was "crooks who now make up an important part of our ultimate clientele."
Those "crooks" turned humanitarian aid into a "Trojan horse" for Saddam's regime, Conlon said. It was a case of the old bait-and-switch.
"For example, we gave them an awful lot of permits for water purification chemicals. Any kind of chemical whatsoever could have been in those drums that they were importing," Conlon said.
I remember Laura Ingram talking about the Republicans who stormed the office on some talk show. The dem was talking about how frightening they were, and she said -give me a break-protesters in green plaid pants with pocket protectors . Republicans are not exactly scary protestors.LOL!!!
Good quote. But it's ineffective on Kerry--everyone would understand why he wouldn't fight. Anything, even a good right cross, would help Tuh-RAY-Za's puss.
No cable here either. I cancelled after the History Channel ran a Valentine's day special on the history of lingerie.
Yes, I clearly remember that night. I was literally jumping up and down hooting and hollering. I know my neighbors had to hear me!
By all means, do stay.
